I cheat a little, taking the video with the camera and then uploading it to kino later. That way, I can get things outside of the wifi zone (like the above) or time stuff better with a little more lead.

I woke up at 5 this morning and could not go back to sleep so I played w/ Kinotopic. It took me a lot of tries before I figured out that - duh - you can choose "select all" instead of highlighting the whole picture with my fat finger.

It's really sensitive. I hit record and just put the phone down sometimes. Select All makes it less obvious.
I hit select all unless I'm really trying to get that hummingbird to freeze in midair.

I went down to a jetty tonight and lay on my stomach shooting waves hitting submerged rocks. I shot this, played w/ it, then put my phone in my pocket and apparently my pocket created it and uploaded it to FB. I wouldn't have known about it if PP hadn't liked it on FB.
