i made some gifs from some animations i did a few years ago. i was experimenting with After Effects inspired by this incredible book "Digital Harmony: On the Complementarity of Music and Visual Art" by the multi-threat legendary 60s computer animation family the Whitneys. they were working with early computers and using them to control cameras, so they devised a way to use superimposition to multiply the motion, creating the clouds and vector line glyphs and shapes that morphed from one to another. i didn't get very far so i ended up cheating and copying and rotating every line of spinning circles or lines to make a 360 kaleidoscopic thing. some of it looks cool tho.
