Muncie made me lolololl

Anne and Tom is getting worse by the episode. Anne gets in a relationship with a male member of the cast because they have nothing else for her to do is so depressing third time around. Like is her next storyline Ron or Jerry based?
― a hoy hoy, Friday, 24 February 2012 14:36 (fourteen years ago)
the main problem with the Tom/Ann storyline is that it only works when their relationship isn't working; no one actually wants to see those two characters together but watching Ann neg Tom left right up and down is super super funny
― robbery by sudden snatching (DJP), Friday, 24 February 2012 14:38 (fourteen years ago)
Yeah Ann's exasperation/zings are making me like her a whole lot more. "Tommy's Girl? Why not Ann's Man?"

Leslie's sign made me laugh soooooo hard. Probably because I've seen slight variations of that stupidity too many times to count.

Deric said as much I already types this all out so...
This is so funny but also you see this for real on blogs like "Cake Disasters" and I'm pretty sure there's a sign-specific one too... lots of URLS instead of images or descriptions of what they want, written out in cursive on frosting.. "Happy Birthday, Mike! - 'and then an image of a frog because he loves frogs'.
I also lolled/loved Nick's story of sheet-metalling and working at a tannery at age 11.
I watch most of my sitcoms a few days after they air, if you can't tell..

between "ramp up pawnee" and her promises to the police re benefits, leslie is imagining a really robust expansion of pawnee's government's size + role. i guess ron has not really thought through his support of her?

Did anyone else know that Jay Jackson, the guy who plays Perd, is really a former tv reporter? He even owns/runs a training school for anchors.

I think my favorite thing about Parks and Rec lately (contrasted particularly strongly with 30 Rock) is how effortless it feels. They're just in a nice groove that I hope they're able to maintain indefinitely.

I loved all of Leslie's giddy descriptions of Ben's smallness. "taut, narrow frame, like a sexy elf king"

a. President Obama namechecks Aziz during a fundraiser thing, and then admits Malia loves Parks & Recreationb. President Obama THEN busts his balls by saying he has more twitter followers.c. I'm guessing Aziz shits his pants.

http://new.livestream.com/paleycenter/ParksandRecreation - Parks and Rec's Paleyfest panel, starting in a little bit. Unlike Community, most of the cast doesn't seem to be there, but it's got Amy Poehler, Chris Pratt, Retta, Jim O'Heir, Greg Daniels and Michael Schur, so it should still have some decent stuff in there.
