Yeah, you can (briefly) see she found a little playmate that day and was goofing around with him at the back. Just went back to that June 2010 day in my Lightroom catalog and there's a sequence with Lulu but she doesn't really get it and just sort of runs head down in a straight line quite slowly. That's not GIFable, child!

Kinotopic supposedly has this new feature where you can animate parts of the same picture at two different speeds? Not sure if it works though.

i made some gifs from some animations i did a few years ago. i was experimenting with After Effects inspired by this incredible book "Digital Harmony: On the Complementarity of Music and Visual Art" by the multi-threat legendary 60s computer animation family the Whitneys. they were working with early computers and using them to control cameras, so they devised a way to use superimposition to multiply the motion, creating the clouds and vector line glyphs and shapes that morphed from one to another. i didn't get very far so i ended up cheating and copying and rotating every line of spinning circles or lines to make a 360 kaleidoscopic thing. some of it looks cool tho.
