Pretty much every time I think of Richard Schiff now I remember that he once had an action figure.

Parks & Rec needs to do a Pawnee wheel of cheese day episode
― Janet Snakehole (VegemiteGrrl), Friday, 10 February 2012 21:28 (fourteen years ago)
I feel like there were elements of that in episodes like "94 Meetings" and "Time Capsule"!
― jaymc, Friday, 10 February 2012 21:35 (fourteen years ago)
oooh that's true, I never thought of that
― Janet Snakehole (VegemiteGrrl), Friday, 10 February 2012 21:45 (fourteen years ago)
Maybe they hate each other. (I don't really think this is why.)
I wouldn't be surprised by this, the P & R blooper reel made it pretty clear that most of the cast (and especially Adam Scott) is annoyed by Rob Lowe.
― Nicole, Friday, 10 February 2012 22:01 (fourteen years ago)
Blooper reel?
― jaymc, Friday, 10 February 2012 22:02 (fourteen years ago)
the P & R blooper reel made it pretty clear that most of the cast (and especially Adam Scott) is annoyed by Rob Lowe.
Really? I must see this. I haven't looked at any of the ones with Rob Lowe. That's a shame. I like to think of them as a big happy funtimes cast.
― trishyb, Saturday, 11 February 2012 00:55 (fourteen years ago)
yeah, Adam Scott shoots some amazing annoyed-glares at Lowe
flipped for copyright purposes I guess

Not sure if it was mentioned on here, but Chris Pratt was pretty great as Scott Hatteberg in Moneyball. It was a very different character for him to the point where I didn't even recognize him at first.
― Moodles, Wednesday, 15 February 2012 22:07 (fourteen years ago)
true, although the part where he says he's most nervous about the ball coming toward him (or whatever - can't remember exactly) was total andy.

Louis CK is fantastic and hilarious tonight. He seems way funnier than I remember him being the last time he was on.

Tom doing his thing towards Anne was way too creepy for me to enjoy this episode. He was like a mentally handicapped child.
― a hoy hoy, Friday, 17 February 2012 15:51 (fourteen years ago)
Ann's reaction to Tom doing his thing was A++ hilarious, though.
― (thinks and smiles) (DJP), Friday, 17 February 2012 16:00 (fourteen years ago)
Every time Tom is about to list things, I brace myself for hilarity. His variations on "boo" were brilliant.

Jerry's description of his birthday with his wife was amazing.
Also lol not loving 90s r&b music as an oh no no.
― a hoy hoy, Friday, 24 February 2012 07:33 (fourteen years ago)
It's a little thing, but I'm really pleased with how Rob Lowe has worked out. It seemed like an awkward fit (always trying to give him stories and his health obsession and perkiness started to feel one-note) but I like how they're working with this break-up and the loneliness as a side issue. Would actually like to see him get the A-story one week.

Don't half-ass two things. Whole-ass one thing.
― Janet Snakehole (VegemiteGrrl), Friday, 24 February 2012 14:33 (fourteen years ago)
Muncie made me lolololl
Anne and Tom is getting worse by the episode. Anne gets in a relationship with a male member of the cast because they have nothing else for her to do is so depressing third time around. Like is her next storyline Ron or Jerry based?
― a hoy hoy, Friday, 24 February 2012 14:36 (fourteen years ago)
the main problem with the Tom/Ann storyline is that it only works when their relationship isn't working; no one actually wants to see those two characters together but watching Ann neg Tom left right up and down is super super funny
― robbery by sudden snatching (DJP), Friday, 24 February 2012 14:38 (fourteen years ago)
Yeah Ann's exasperation/zings are making me like her a whole lot more. "Tommy's Girl? Why not Ann's Man?"

Deric said as much I already types this all out so...
This is so funny but also you see this for real on blogs like "Cake Disasters" and I'm pretty sure there's a sign-specific one too... lots of URLS instead of images or descriptions of what they want, written out in cursive on frosting.. "Happy Birthday, Mike! - 'and then an image of a frog because he loves frogs'.
I also lolled/loved Nick's story of sheet-metalling and working at a tannery at age 11.
I watch most of my sitcoms a few days after they air, if you can't tell..
