Decent game, only disappointed by the crossing tbh. If we must draw, draw like that imo.

Ismael Klata, Monday, 6 February 2012 21:53 (fourteen years ago)

parker has been that all season, we just don't get to smother that often!we were the lesser team tonight but i think that was the plan tbf

Dr Frogbius (darraghmac), Monday, 6 February 2012 21:54 (fourteen years ago)

Sunderland homing in on seventh in a couple of weeks though, better goal difference an' all

Ismael Klata, Monday, 6 February 2012 21:55 (fourteen years ago)

good game alright, credit both defences- kelly, walker, johnson all good enough for england.

Dawson pwnd imo. Livermore is the discerning punter's rodwell.

Dr Frogbius (darraghmac), Monday, 6 February 2012 21:56 (fourteen years ago)

spurs had scored in the last 22 league games before that

mizzell, Monday, 6 February 2012 21:56 (fourteen years ago)

I'll take the point there, really tense towards the end. Parker or Dawson probably man of the match, Dawson was immense. VDV's importance to the team really underlined tonight, both lone frontmen looked very isolated.

Matt DC, Monday, 6 February 2012 21:57 (fourteen years ago)

Dawson, Parker, Livermore, Walker all excellent

Ismael Klata, Monday, 6 February 2012 21:57 (fourteen years ago)

idk if it's a comment on individuals or ever-decreasing hype cycles in sports reporting in general but Alan Green giving it the "well this just goes to show that Spurs are in no way title contenders" at the end there, when he's filled airtime saying the precise opposite in recent weeks, grinds my gears something chronic

nb I haven't at any point had the slightest expectation that Spurs are gonna finish above third, and wd be happy enough w/ fourth

Sylv_ebanks (DJ Mencap), Monday, 6 February 2012 21:57 (fourteen years ago)

Wtf does Green mean by that? Top side not losing to Liverpool is a pretty good result.

Ismael Klata, Monday, 6 February 2012 21:58 (fourteen years ago)

otm

Dr Frogbius (darraghmac), Monday, 6 February 2012 22:01 (fourteen years ago)

Run of Play is out-of-action for 'a little longer' btw

Ismael Klata, Monday, 6 February 2012 22:06 (fourteen years ago)

gentlemen, we're talking about Alan Green

dayove cool (Noodle Vague), Monday, 6 February 2012 22:12 (fourteen years ago)

yah but part of me still sees it as a byproduct of the rolling sports news era where everything needs to be fleshed out w/ longwinded challops to fill airtime

rather than Green just being rong and/or forgetful

Sylv_ebanks (DJ Mencap), Monday, 6 February 2012 22:15 (fourteen years ago)

hard to say with green either way

Dr Frogbius (darraghmac), Monday, 6 February 2012 22:17 (fourteen years ago)

kenny dal is so needlessly confrontational

I know press are the most disgusting savages in the world but seriously

john terje (cozen), Monday, 6 February 2012 22:20 (fourteen years ago)

Green lives in permanent hyperbole mode, whether he's a product of or contributor to the perma-news ethic is sort of moot i guess, the guy is a tool and is clearly employed as such.

dayove cool (Noodle Vague), Monday, 6 February 2012 22:23 (fourteen years ago)

ah i dunno he relishes the defensive interview but i don't ever think he's cunty by nature in them

Dr Frogbius (darraghmac), Monday, 6 February 2012 22:23 (fourteen years ago)

did we pass 10000 messages today

Dr Frogbius (darraghmac), Monday, 6 February 2012 22:25 (fourteen years ago)

y

a hoy hoy, Monday, 6 February 2012 22:28 (fourteen years ago)

Didn't see any of this. Did Suarez give Parker a karate kick, am I reading that right?

Flag post? I hardly knew her! (Le Bateau Ivre), Monday, 6 February 2012 22:28 (fourteen years ago)

again, i'm going to have to disagree strongly with your take on Dalglish darragh

Number None, Monday, 6 February 2012 22:28 (fourteen years ago)

mebbe, mebbe

G- yeah, a deliberate but disguised kick in the abdomen

Dr Frogbius (darraghmac), Monday, 6 February 2012 22:29 (fourteen years ago)

Thanks. That little fucker

Flag post? I hardly knew her! (Le Bateau Ivre), Monday, 6 February 2012 22:30 (fourteen years ago)

I didn't actually see what he said tonight though

Number None, Monday, 6 February 2012 22:31 (fourteen years ago)

he was taking issue with the interviewer for complimenting his players

john terje (cozen), Monday, 6 February 2012 22:34 (fourteen years ago)

Lol, Dalglish very much in character

Flag post? I hardly knew her! (Le Bateau Ivre), Monday, 6 February 2012 22:35 (fourteen years ago)

The redemption of Nev is the season's most heartwarming story

This was the 10,000th post, where do you Barclays to make the donation?

Ismael Klata, Monday, 6 February 2012 22:38 (fourteen years ago)

you want Barclays

Ismael Klata, Monday, 6 February 2012 22:38 (fourteen years ago)

I don't understand either of your posts but i assume i've won something

Number None, Monday, 6 February 2012 22:41 (fourteen years ago)

(Barclays donated twenty quid to Acorns after Marc Albrighton scored the 20,000th Premiership goal at Xmas)

Ismael Klata, Monday, 6 February 2012 22:46 (fourteen years ago)

kenny dal is obviously wilfully antagonistic with the press. when he was at celtic he went as far as to have press conferences in baird's bar on the gallowgate (rough celtic pub) to noise the hacks up.

Chris, Tuesday, 7 February 2012 01:02 (fourteen years ago)

oh gross. is that an attempted eye gouge?

kid steel (cajunsunday), Tuesday, 7 February 2012 07:24 (fourteen years ago)

If I look at this Tottenham team now I see some good, good players. The little magician, Modric. The mercurial Dutchman, van der Vaart. The Welsh wizard, Bale. And the outstanding Russian, Pavlyucheckov. Quite what Harry’s problem is with him, I don’t know, because I reckon he’d outscore your Rooneys and van Persies given the right chance and the right service. If it were me I’d have Alan Lennon firing in the crosses for him all game.

James Mitchell, Tuesday, 7 February 2012 09:19 (fourteen years ago)

jesus, the pronouns.

Thought i saw suarez with his hands in someone's face right after he came on, didn't look that bad at the time.

Oh well, another ban. Glad he's learning.

Dr Frogbius (darraghmac), Tuesday, 7 February 2012 09:22 (fourteen years ago)

Worst cunt in the Premiership by a mile.

Matt DC, Tuesday, 7 February 2012 10:03 (fourteen years ago)

Maybe once Terry retires and Barton gets relegated.

I think that kick on Parker was an accident though. He was aiming for Ledley King.

Matt DC, Tuesday, 7 February 2012 10:36 (fourteen years ago)

oh lol

Dr Frogbius (darraghmac), Tuesday, 7 February 2012 10:38 (fourteen years ago)

After being unsure I'm starting to warm to Suarez.
We were okay last night.

pandemic, Tuesday, 7 February 2012 12:14 (fourteen years ago)

you were the better team, but tbf we were playing for a point and had injuries.
