TBH Ive only ever passed thru on the train - I'm not judging the place. I'm annoyed that saying "we have chosen to stay in this area" means getting flooded with "but lol CHEAPER HOUSES" posts and one other dick telling me i need to "lower my standards" (he is a LANDLORD - he can eff right off)

I have to say if I moved to Melbourne, I would certainly consider Footscray. Regular trains to city, not concerned about it being a dodgy area (because duh, I live in Redfern and love it), convenient if I wanna go to see my sis, or where my parents are moving to as well.
Also because once I saw a Metro bit of signage advertising service interruptions/bustitution, and it was mistyped as "Footscary" and I liked that.
