Saha doesn't seem worth a contract by sheer dint of his injury record, agreed

dayove cool (Noodle Vague), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 11:02 (fourteen years ago)

Jelavic, Vellios, a couple of young lads who look alright xp

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 11:02 (fourteen years ago)

Tim Cahill's chipping in with a goal a year, they'll be fine.

ERIC CANONTA FOR PRESIDETN! (onimo), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 11:03 (fourteen years ago)

Forgot about Jelavic. Stracqua... Starcq... Stra... some Argentinian bloke

Charles Kennedy Jumped Up, He Called 'Oh No'. (Tom D.), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 11:03 (fourteen years ago)

So Terry has to be in court as late as July 9. He can play the Euros carefree now and win it for England! Aren't yall psyched?

Flag post? I hardly knew her! (Le Bateau Ivre), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 11:39 (fourteen years ago)

ya, pure psyched now boss

flags post o fu (darraghmac), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 11:48 (fourteen years ago)

Lee Bowyer was amazing until his trial, so it could happen

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 11:54 (fourteen years ago)

not that Bowyer and Terry are similar

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 11:55 (fourteen years ago)

Yeah, Bowyer's not completely detestable for one

Charles Kennedy Jumped Up, He Called 'Oh No'. (Tom D.), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 11:59 (fourteen years ago)

Ryan Nelsen to Spurs?

Charles Kennedy Jumped Up, He Called 'Oh No'. (Tom D.), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 12:16 (fourteen years ago)

Yeah, Bowyer's not completely detestable for one

dayove cool (Noodle Vague), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 12:27 (fourteen years ago)

it's not the distinction I'd've chosen tbh

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 12:29 (fourteen years ago)

Terry's not ginger

dayove cool (Noodle Vague), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 12:31 (fourteen years ago)

Gorblimey, leave it aht, you tryin' to say Lee Bowyer's an iron?

Charles Kennedy Jumped Up, He Called 'Oh No'. (Tom D.), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 12:33 (fourteen years ago)

WTH have the BBC done to their Football website. Colour...everywhere. And what's this? McNulty doing pieces to camera? Must.Resist.Urge. To find out if his writing style is mirrored by his speech.

pandemic, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 12:59 (fourteen years ago)

It's horrible.

ERIC CANONTA FOR PRESIDETN! (onimo), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 13:00 (fourteen years ago)

It's like they asked Carles from Hipster Runoff to design it, the coloured rectangular squares and all.

Flag post? I hardly knew her! (Le Bateau Ivre), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 13:02 (fourteen years ago)

And they appear to have done away with European Club Football (except Ch Lge and Europa). Used to go there to look up fixtures and tables. Bah!

pandemic, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 13:02 (fourteen years ago)

oh it's still there. I was being dim. Still it is a right eyesore.

pandemic, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 13:03 (fourteen years ago)

fucks sake like their site wasn't slow enough loading

flags post o fu (darraghmac), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 13:05 (fourteen years ago)

Wilshere stress fracture in his right foot. That wasn't the previous injury was it? Think it was his ankle.

pandemic, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 13:10 (fourteen years ago)

Tim Cahill's chipping in with a goal a year, they'll be fine

Can you chip with your head?

James Mitchell, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 17:25 (fourteen years ago)

RIP Grayson and also BBC having a website I could look at.

Excited to see Miyaichi at Bolton on loan. Arsenal fans on the internet still call him 'the next Christiano Ronaldo' which I think is hilar, especially given my own history of hyping Arsenal youngsters but everyones optimism towards him does get me excited. Wilshere was as good as the hype suggested at Bolton, hopefully Ryooooooooooooooooo can do too. If only so I can do my Hacksaw Jim Duggan impression when he scores.

Aesop Rizzle (a hoy hoy), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 18:28 (fourteen years ago)

The CR comparison is silly, just like almost every comparison of a hot prospect with CR or Messi. But I too can't wait to see him play again; he was a minor sensation at Feyenoord.

Flag post? I hardly knew her! (Le Bateau Ivre), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 18:44 (fourteen years ago)

Is he available tonight? I need a reason to subject myself to one of these games.

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 18:49 (fourteen years ago)

can we just assume redknapp is guilty by dint of his employing the bertie ahern defence? "what is money? i don't even actually know what a note is, why i couldn't even win a coin toss? i'll be honest i actually have the brain of an amoeba, a bank account? what's a bank account??? i just like a pint and some football"

When a German communicates, you listen (LocalGarda), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 18:56 (fourteen years ago)

xp Loan signing so I assume not?

Arsenal game looks like it might be okay tho. Bolton on a 3-game winning streak, Arsenal buoyed by Villa comeback...woof, as they say.

get ready for the banter (NotEnough), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 18:56 (fourteen years ago)

lol lg

terry trial takes place after euros

should capello bring him

if rio makes a deal of it, will he be left home

i'm enjoying these questions, feel like i might take up smoking weed just to ponder them like i imagine ilx poster lamp does with various deep subjects

flags post o fu (darraghmac), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 19:08 (fourteen years ago)

Harry also going for the high-risk five-up-front tactic of shouting at a spectator in court while giving his evidence, I don't know what he's trying to do there to be honest.

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 19:09 (fourteen years ago)

what are the chances of Rio even being fit?

Number None, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 19:11 (fourteen years ago)

Yeah I dont think any club will let a loanee go out and still be able to play that club these days.

xpost

Aesop Rizzle (a hoy hoy), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 19:12 (fourteen years ago)

It's actually against the rules iirc

Number None, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 19:14 (fourteen years ago)

mizzell, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 19:18 (fourteen years ago)

the new live football website at bbc is an atrocity :-(

Flag post? I hardly knew her! (Le Bateau Ivre), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 19:23 (fourteen years ago)

ha sweet lfc tv is in my sky package

flags post o fu (darraghmac), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 19:24 (fourteen years ago)

LFC TV is free if you have any Sky package lol

dayove cool (Noodle Vague), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 19:24 (fourteen years ago)

I can remember speaking to Rio Ferdinand and he said Terry was the biggest cunt he'd played against. Though Rio might have been off his box, so fuck knows.

James Mitchell, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 19:25 (fourteen years ago)

fuck's sake tackling is a bit fierce

flags post o fu (darraghmac), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 19:27 (fourteen years ago)

Aesop Rizzle (a hoy hoy), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 19:53 (fourteen years ago)

Flag post? I hardly knew her! (Le Bateau Ivre), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 19:59 (fourteen years ago)

Wait, what's happened in Egypt?

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 20:00 (fourteen years ago)

i can't make head nor tail of that but reports are mentioning knives being a major factor

flags post o fu (darraghmac), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 20:03 (fourteen years ago)

supporters of one side invaded the pitch and attacked the players and staff of other side, full-on riot ensued.

mizzell, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 20:05 (fourteen years ago)

Is it 73 murders? That video didn't look like a crush or stampede, unless there's a tunnel over on the far right.

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 20:05 (fourteen years ago)

Supporters of the winning team assaulted the fans of the losing team apparantly. Al J. reporting 73 dead now.

Flag post? I hardly knew her! (Le Bateau Ivre), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 20:07 (fourteen years ago)

Horrible.

Less horrible but still worth bitching about: the BBC live update doesn't happen while I'm on another tab, so I get a stream of 100 updates at once when I click on it. ARGH REDESIGN #134
