Tom's bowling had me in hysterics, as did the post-credits tag

Tom was on fire, his little birdy whining was fantastic.
― jon /via/ chi 2.0, Friday, 27 January 2012 16:10 (fourteen years ago)
I loved that Tom had the scorpion jacket from Drive, it is so him.
― Nicole, Friday, 27 January 2012 16:36 (fourteen years ago)

I thought Ron was going to punch him.

Jerry giving his SSN to someone he was calling for donations was kinda lol. Donna lining up phone sex was even better.
― Johnny Fever, Friday, 27 January 2012 18:27 (fourteen years ago)
omg Donna's reaction to Jerry saying his daughter was going to breakup with Rob lowe was LOL
Her eyes were all O_O

I can't say how casual viewers might feel, but for anyone familiar with these characters, I don't know how this show could be anything but a joy week-to-week.

― Mordy, Friday, 3 February 2012 13:32 (fourteen years ago)
Megan Mullaly appears to be attempting to guest star on every sitcom on television atm, plus there's Jane Lynch in Glee and Ken Marino showed up on Whitney (I've also noticed Children's Hospital ppl starting to pop up in movies, as an aside). Also, Ryan Hansen was in some random mid-season replacement show on NBC.
― I spend a lot of time thinking about apricots (DJP), Friday, 3 February 2012 13:37 (fourteen years ago)
he was also in happy endings the other week
― just sayin, Friday, 3 February 2012 13:41 (fourteen years ago)
Ken Marino deserves better than Whitney. Otoh, who doesn't deserve better than Whitney (other than Whitney herself & her schlubby boyfriend on the show)?
― Nicole, Friday, 3 February 2012 13:45 (fourteen years ago)
This show is firing all on cylinders this season, its really amazing how it has all pulled together.
― Gonjasufjanstephen O'Malley (jon /via/ chi 2.0), Friday, 3 February 2012 14:36 (fourteen years ago)
I don't think I've ever seen Ron delighted before
― I spend a lot of time thinking about apricots (DJP), Friday, 3 February 2012 14:39 (fourteen years ago)
also Little Sebastian continues to bring it from the beyond
― I spend a lot of time thinking about apricots (DJP), Friday, 3 February 2012 14:40 (fourteen years ago)
Yeah, that was great. What makes Ron such a great character isn't the "oh here's another thing he hates", its the really slow and casual revealing of things he absolutely adores.
― Gonjasufjanstephen O'Malley (jon /via/ chi 2.0), Friday, 3 February 2012 14:41 (fourteen years ago)
love that lil' sebastian's memorial had people there actively mourning on valentine's day night
― ban opinions (reddening), Friday, 3 February 2012 17:14 (fourteen years ago)
He's the Princess Diana of tiny horses.
― Nicole, Friday, 3 February 2012 17:17 (fourteen years ago)
Too many amazing things last night. Martin Starr turning over the snow globe and saying "it's working now." "Irish? Scottish? White, whatever you are." Ron's love of riddles (I really enjoy when Ron gets giddy about something, it's such a great comic contrast to his usual stoicism).
Also everything Chris Pratt did which is redundant because everything he's done throughout this whole show has been AMAZING, MVP.
― all the other twinks with their fucked up dicks (billy), Friday, 3 February 2012 17:51 (fourteen years ago)
Yes, Pratt is just perfect. I can't think of anyone that pulls off physical comedy as well as him, except maybe Ty Burrell. But that gag with the crowbar through the display case was A++.
― Gonjasufjanstephen O'Malley (jon /via/ chi 2.0), Friday, 3 February 2012 17:55 (fourteen years ago)
not enough pratt last night
― mizzell, Friday, 3 February 2012 18:01 (fourteen years ago)

I demand a Chris Pratt/Ty Burrell buddy comedy

finally watched. chris staring at jerry was hilarious (they share 50% of the same dna!), as was tom's "buuuuuuuunies" and leslie's scream at seeing them together.

Bradley Whitford, a.k.a. Josh Lyman from The West Wing, will be guest-starring on Parks and Recreation this spring. According to HuffPo, Whitford will play the city councilman vacating the seat Leslie's running for, and the episode includes a bunch of West Wing shout-outs — even the title, "Live Ammo," is an allusion to one of Sam Seaborn's lines in the episode "The Lame Duck Congress" (season two, episode 6, B+). Tragically, Whitford will not be sharing any scenes with Rob Lowe, so that Josh/Sam reunion fantasy some completely sane and capable people may harbor so deeply that it feels real will just have to wait for a few more years.

Ha, I just called my wife at work to share this news.
― jaymc, Friday, 10 February 2012 20:23 (fourteen years ago)
I can't believe they're not going to throw Whitford and Lowe in a scene together. Seems like the biggest wasted opportunity.
― Johnny Fever, Friday, 10 February 2012 20:24 (fourteen years ago)
Godfather II all over again.
I'm more excited about Louis CK coming back next week tbh.
