yes! i love it but its crazy work all the time. i realised yesterday that all the sexually ambiguous mediterranean guys are actually just gay. which is nice.

At this early stage my classes seem almost too easy. I think I'm going to get my ass kicked once I get to a level where actual effort is expected.

yeah but i think you're totally gonna reap the benefit of having spent some time just learning and educating yourself. i always feel like i'm not ready for the classes i'm taking. i mean there's pros and cons obviously, i know your're gonna really love it. being out of school for a couple of years is really making me appreciate it.

Oh i dunno, Grindr can be startling too- I just had the jarring experience on Grindr of a blonde, 6 foot 5 sporty n fit looking twenty year old tell me out of the blue that I was very handsome only to realize, upon closer inspection, that he was a former student of mine- he apparently didn't recognize my pic without glasses and suit and tie? I never had sleeping around days, I guess. Never figured out *how* to do it. I dunno. It's not like I'm opposed to the concept - hell, I'm allowed to - but the entire concept of picking up guys remains totally daunting and confusing to me. Tbh, school and life are so exhausting these days I don't have it in me to go out that much (and despite not picking up ever, I love going out). Went to a concert Friday night that ended at 2:30 for the first time in months and Saturday I was hungover and unproductive until sundown.

The boy's been expressing a desire to indulge in his 'wild youth' days, though, so I guess I'll just live vicariously through him.
