When I was your age, young man, I was seeing Fake Fiction shows at midnight.

Lol talk guy on bus stood up and said loudly "Hey, get up jackass, we gotta be in court." a lot of heads turned bc it wasn't apparent that he was talking into his hands free phone mic.

dang it's snowing so hard but doesn't seem to be sticking at all. all this wasted effort by god.

i think the problem is all the snow seems to be going sideways, instead of towards the ground.

Settlers of catan looks awesome, though tbf I'm not exactly sure what it is.

In related news, due to wedding registry hilarity, we now have two brand new "classic" Clue board games, if anybody wants one.

xp Aw, I made you frown. I just feel like its complexity makes playing it a chore for ppl who aren't super enthusiastic about that kind of game. Since its hard to find players, we don't play it much and we have to relearn it every time, which makes it more complex…

I feel like we need to go play at the f'n Dice Dojo or something to really take full advantage.

Jesse, Settlers is really easy to learn. It probably takes a few games to really develop a strategy but that's part of the fun IMO.

I had to drive to and back from a meeting out in Aurora this moring, they are actually doing an admirable job of keeping up on the roads and sidewalks. Its nasty way out west.

i think i liked the BSG game more once i became a cylon and was basically a spoiler for everyone else

Carcassone is infinitely better.

I think the bsg game would be more fun with 4 or 5 ppl. It would also take 4 hours to play.

also it's very hard to actually "win"

and, as the name suggests, it is set within the Lovecraftian world

That sounds really good.

it's fun but it can be really goddamn frustrating to play for 2-3 hours and then BOOM Cthulhu rises and everyone loses their mind with fear and it's over
