The other thing about Adebayor is how many goals he makes for other players - he gets so many more assists than last year's strikers, occasional Crouch knockdown for VDV notwithstanding. All of our attacking players benefit from him being in the team.

I keep forgetting that Man City even signed Nasri. Given he's managed half a season of decent play in several years in England, Wenger must be pissing himself laughing at that one.

Dzeko and Aguero just haven't really gelled have they? I suppose he's got a bit of Berbatov problem in that he slows the attack down, but when Balotelli's out City suddenly look a bit short on options there, although Aguero is worth three of yr jobbing Prem strikers at least.

Johnson was a great signing for City two years ago but they've outgrown him. He'd improve most Premiership teams from Chelsea down.

Chelsea don't really have any half-decent right-sided option, it's one of the things that's wrong with their squad. You need to at least have the option of playing someone with a bit of natural width there if the occasion demands it.

I'd fucking love Johnson at Arsenal but wing forwards are our most wanting position atm.

I tend to think Adebayor lacks concentration or ambition but he looks as good at Spurs as I've ever seen him.

maybe this being a seaon loan deal will keep him focused thoughout, since he needs to convince somebody to pay him at the end of it.
