RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 7 March 2006 12:20 (twenty years ago)

I am so relieved that my po-faced rave at the beginning has been replaced with smutty lust from all concerned.

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn (Alfred Soto), Tuesday, 7 March 2006 14:20 (twenty years ago)

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO hot.

At the bar on Sunday night, some queen screamed at the TV when JG came on "SIT ON MY FAAAAACE!"

(i think it was "sit")

Dr Morbius (Dr Morbius), Tuesday, 7 March 2006 15:26 (twenty years ago)

You may see it! Waters likes at least one hot boy in all his films.

Dr Morbius (Dr Morbius), Tuesday, 7 March 2006 16:35 (twenty years ago)

Johnny Knoxville isn't hot.

jaymc (jaymc), Tuesday, 7 March 2006 16:47 (twenty years ago)

Chris Isaak is though.

RoxyMuzak© (roxymuzak), Tuesday, 7 March 2006 16:57 (twenty years ago)

Waters no doubt thinks Knoxville is.

Dr Morbius (Dr Morbius), Tuesday, 7 March 2006 17:01 (twenty years ago)

knox is a real gay icon

RoxyMuzak© (roxymuzak), Tuesday, 7 March 2006 17:02 (twenty years ago)

For the other post-Oscars pic, the one where he looks like he's trying to steal Diana Ossana's soul, Gyllenahl has earned my undying respect. But he's still not my favorite Gyllie sibling.

Erick Dampier is better than Shaq (miloaukerman), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 02:39 (twenty years ago)

He's too muppety for me to be attracted to him but after looking at those post-oscars pictures I can't help but like him.

My Psychic Friends Are Strangely Silent (Ex Leon), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 02:52 (twenty years ago)

I didn't think he was good in Donnie Darko but I haven't seen anything else he's been in. He's cute, though. Where is the Gyllenhaal/Dunst sex tape? WHERE? The only bad part would be the Coldplay soundtrack.

Zwan (miccio), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 03:20 (twenty years ago)

He was ok in Donnie Darko but my patience for actors with dorky comb-overs designed to make'em look sensitive is exhausted. I prefer'em sticking their tongues out behind Ang Lee.

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn (Alfred Soto), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 03:36 (twenty years ago)

He was better in the Good Girl than Donnie Darko, playing the same kind of character.

Erick Dampier is better than Shaq (miloaukerman), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 03:38 (twenty years ago)

I can confirm that he is hot.

Tim Finney (Tim Finney), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 12:39 (twenty years ago)

Did you give'em the old Jack Twist, tim?

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn (Alfred Soto), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 13:40 (twenty years ago)

I want to see all the post-Oscar pixorz.

RoxyMuzak© (roxymuzak), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 14:23 (twenty years ago)

Where is the Gyllenhaal/Sarsgaard sex tape? (Depending on the rumors' veracity, I'll take either G.)

Dr Morbius (Dr Morbius), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 14:29 (twenty years ago)

Did you give'em the old Jack Twist, tim?

RoxyMuzak© (roxymuzak), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 18:07 (twenty years ago)

If Tim had a close encounter with JG, I missed it!?

Dr Morbius (Dr Morbius), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 18:24 (twenty years ago)

The Toothy Tile controversy continues to play out.

My Psychic Friends Are Strangely Silent (Ex Leon), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 18:28 (twenty years ago)

I must say, I'm having trouble buying the Toothy Tile shit, wishful thinking notwithstanding.

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn (Alfred Soto), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 19:29 (twenty years ago)

I just read up on Toothy Tile -- hadn't heard of it before. If T.T. is indeed Jake, then why does Ted Casablanca say that T.T.'s lover is NOT Peter Sarsgaard?

jaymc (jaymc), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 19:44 (twenty years ago)

because it's Heath Ledger, silly!

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn (Alfred Soto), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 20:07 (twenty years ago)

this thread is causing me workplace discomfort

RoxyMuzak© (roxymuzak), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 20:13 (twenty years ago)

Alfred, no.

"I figured if I couldn't be around my girlfriend, I would settle for her brother," said Sarsgaard, who's dating Maggie Gyllenhaal.

jaymc (jaymc), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 20:13 (twenty years ago)

Gyllenhaal received the Desert Palm Achievement Award from colleague Peter Sarsgaard (who, by the way, is dating Jake's sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal). Sarsgaard said he was planning to say nice things about Gyllenhaal, since they all picked on him during the making of "Jarhead." However, the first thing that Sarsgaard noted was Gyllenhaal's great hair. He said, "Jake's got an amazing head of hair. Look at it, it's incredible."

jaymc (jaymc), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 20:15 (twenty years ago)

OMG, did anybody see Sarsgaard at the Indie Spirit Awards?? He came out -- er, went onstage -- with gift bags dangling from his arms and did everything but howl "It's Raining Men."

Dr Morbius (Dr Morbius), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 20:20 (twenty years ago)

Saturday morning while waiting for an outside table at Sant Ambroeus I spotted Maggie Gyllenhaal (looking very well put together) and a very scruffy Peter Sarsgaard sitting with an older woman and…drum roll please…a truly hot, relaxed, smiling brother Jake. Jake was clearly not trying to go incognito as he was holding a little puppy on his lap. Despite this critical mass of star power everyone was pretty much leaving them alone. At one point Peter stood up and started rubbing Jake’s shoulders which caused me to gasp.

jaymc (jaymc), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 20:22 (twenty years ago)

Jake, Maggie, puppy

jaymc (jaymc), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 20:28 (twenty years ago)

hahaha jaymc has the goods! or maybe he's just writing it...

Dr Morbius (Dr Morbius), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 20:29 (twenty years ago)

Puggles will keep them together.

My Psychic Friends Are Strangely Silent (Ex Leon), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 20:32 (twenty years ago)

The older woman at the table, btw -- sitting next to Jake -- is Mrs. G. (Naomi Foner).

jaymc (jaymc), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 20:33 (twenty years ago)

whew.... getting light-headed...

elmo, patron saint of nausea (allocryptic), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 21:16 (twenty years ago)

Where are you getting this, jay?

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn (Alfred Soto), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 21:21 (twenty years ago)

(I LOVE Naomi Foner's silver boots in that pic!)

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn (Alfred Soto), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 21:28 (twenty years ago)

Hoo boy:

On the same wavelength as Sarsgaard, Gyllenhaal said that he indeed "loves to tell stories in film," but then immediately said, "I already did a gay cowboy movie this year. If I did a musical, people might start asking questions. But don't think it's not beating deeply in my veins, and the urge is a deep urge. Deep, deep urge."

Unrelated, but this is too irresistable:

The highly acclaimed Toronto-based filmmaker ("Dead Ringers," "The Fly," "Crash") received the Sonny Bono Visionary Filmmaker Award...

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn (Alfred Soto), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 21:33 (twenty years ago)

Here's a handy comp of the Toothy Tile stuff:

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn (Alfred Soto), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 23:35 (twenty years ago)

OMG I missed the "deep, deep urge" part!
