Wal Mart was selling S2 (standard def) for $20. I couldn't grab it fast enough.

does anyone else's community sound static'y or is it just my tv?

Mordy, Friday, 18 November 2011 01:16 (fourteen years ago)

No it is static-y

Also I count two perfectly good gags cocked up by dumb elaborations so far

Simon H., Friday, 18 November 2011 01:18 (fourteen years ago)

i'm getting the static too, even on the commercials.

Also, Brie's got great crazy eyes.

NBC must be doing really rough if they're broadcasting static now

no, but it's really amazing.

encarta it (Gukbe), Friday, 18 November 2011 05:59 (fourteen years ago)

What's with this and Parks & Rev having 'we need to redesign our marketing' storylines at the same time? Next they'll both be having Model UN eps.

kinder, Friday, 18 November 2011 06:22 (fourteen years ago)

aghhhh so good why are they killing/hiding/wtf my show

Janet Snakehole (VegemiteGrrl), Friday, 18 November 2011 06:27 (fourteen years ago)

would the above comment make more sense to me if i'd seen tonight's ep?

phantompenguin, Friday, 18 November 2011 06:46 (fourteen years ago)

God this was great. I thought the early mention of HoD was tipping their hand a bit too much until Guzman brought it up again.

Also, I'm happy that at least they actually got to broadcast an ep featuring Luis.

Ultimately, I want this show to go 4 seasons just to complete its original built-in narrative arc. If they can somehow make it to 5 just to hit the syndication number and make a payday for all involved, that'll be okay too.

I liked how Insane Annie acted more like Alison's true age than just twenty years old.

Good news everyone! Thanks to the recent crisis and the internet furore that followed, the people have once again showed their strength-in-numbers by pushing the ratings for last night's episode up 0.1! SUCK IT NBC

encarta it (Gukbe), Friday, 18 November 2011 17:23 (fourteen years ago)

at least Whitney hit a season-low rating. small comforts.

Didn't realize until now that he was Fenton on That 70s Show. Seems obvious now.

And he co-wrote The Descendants!

encarta it (Gukbe), Saturday, 19 November 2011 03:30 (fourteen years ago)

Hm, just rewatched Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas. I still like it but it doesn't seem as amazing as I thought it was anymore, especially after the last few episodes. I wonder how much I was just impressed by the novelty at the time.

EveningStar (Sund4r), Saturday, 19 November 2011 03:47 (fourteen years ago)

New Harold and Kumar totally borrowed the Claymation Christmas concept!

EveningStar (Sund4r), Sunday, 20 November 2011 03:47 (fourteen years ago)

Ha, I guess there are many Claymation/stop-motion Christmas movies. It was just the first thing I thought of, maybe because they both involved a 'break with reality' of sorts.

xp me too! i don't know how these things work, but why wouldn't a cable station pick it up? copyright issues? it'd do better on hbo than bored to death, and that's not getting canceled anytime soon.

Let A Man Come In And Do The Cop Porn (Tarfumes The Escape Goat), Friday, 6 January 2012 20:28 (fourteen years ago)

Getting into this in a big way. But back later this spring just means the rest of this season, no? Have new episodes been ordered?

Josh in Chicago, Friday, 6 January 2012 21:26 (fourteen years ago)

no word about a 4th season yet

Mordy, Friday, 6 January 2012 21:28 (fourteen years ago)

According to "Troy and Abed" on Facebook, 12 episodes are set to air.

Let A Man Come In And Do The Cop Porn (Tarfumes The Escape Goat), Friday, 6 January 2012 21:41 (fourteen years ago)

yeah they were ALWAYS shooting and planning to era the full order of Season 3, and it was always going to be probably returning in the spring, but people freaked out like it was going to get pushed to the summer or aired on Bravo or something because i guess they think Are You There, Chelsea? is going to be a ratings phenomenon. too early to say about it being back in the fall because it's too early to say that about most shows, including 30 Rock.

we bought a zoo in a hopeless place (some dude), Friday, 6 January 2012 21:45 (fourteen years ago)

having seen all of season 1 now, I would have been on this show's bandwagon so much earlier had I seen "Social Psychology", "Interpretive Dance", "Physical Education" and "The Science of Illusion" when they aired

Bam! Orgasm explosion in your facehole. (DJP), Friday, 6 January 2012 21:50 (fourteen years ago)

i guess we're a few months away from whiney sheepishy posting about which episodes he really likes

Mordy, Friday, 6 January 2012 21:54 (fourteen years ago)

holy hell, from the Wikipedia entry on this season's Halloween ep:

At the start of the episode, Annie goes through Britta's playlist and finds the Beetlejuice soundtrack in it. A man in a Beetlejuice costume then passes behind Annie as she says the name aloud for the third time in the show's history ("Beetlejuice" was also mentioned in "Communication Studies" and "Cooperative Calligraphy").[4] In the film, when someone says "Beetlejuice" three times, the character Betelgeuse would suddenly enter the scene.[5]

that is an insane level of detail
