Brandanowitz is also Teh Gos's brother in law in Lars And The Real Girl.

This series is not doing it for me at all. I dunno, maybe I'm over it.

Just realized that P&R and Community both doing a Model UN episode is sort of o_0

bright star is great and so so slept on

the jazz zinger (s1ocki), Tuesday, 15 November 2011 17:49 (fourteen years ago)

actually, literally slept on, as i had a dream about it the other night

the jazz zinger (s1ocki), Tuesday, 15 November 2011 17:49 (fourteen years ago)

Adam Scott was on the WTF podcast yesterday. Seems to be the same in real life as he is on the show (or Party Down, for that matter).

Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 15 November 2011 17:58 (fourteen years ago)

he started out as a different character on NTSF:SD:SUV but had turned back into himself by the end of the episode

sex-poodle Al Gore (DJP), Tuesday, 15 November 2011 18:00 (fourteen years ago)

not too safe for standard definition sports utility vehicles?

the jazz zinger (s1ocki), Tuesday, 15 November 2011 18:01 (fourteen years ago)

Does Adam Scott sound a lot like Scott Aukerman (from Comedy Death Ray) to anyone else?

boxall, Tuesday, 15 November 2011 18:02 (fourteen years ago)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NTSF:SD:SUV::

it's a live-action Adult Swim show that wavers between "whatever" and "omg"

sex-poodle Al Gore (DJP), Tuesday, 15 November 2011 18:02 (fourteen years ago)

("omg" quotient increases dramatically whenever Rob Riggle is onscreen)

sex-poodle Al Gore (DJP), Tuesday, 15 November 2011 18:03 (fourteen years ago)

Adam Scott sounds just like you would expect an upside down triangle to sound.

bright star is great and so so slept on

Agreed. I love this movie to an almost irrational degree.

bouquet beatdown (Nicole), Tuesday, 15 November 2011 20:27 (fourteen years ago)

i was so appalled that, the year it came out, it got only one oscar nom, and it was for costumes - same year blind side got best picture nom

the jazz zinger (s1ocki), Tuesday, 15 November 2011 20:30 (fourteen years ago)

I think the costumes (though great) may have distracted voters from the substance of the story. Otoh I am rarely surprised at the poor decision making of Oscar voters.

I FAILED JOHN KEATS

goole, Tuesday, 15 November 2011 20:33 (fourteen years ago)

Schneider is so great in Bright Star. More period romances need hecklers.

Simon H., Tuesday, 15 November 2011 23:26 (fourteen years ago)

Schneider is great in everything, which is why his non-presence on this show was so surprising.

I feel like this show has gotten less funny but somehow I don't care when Chris Pratt is a burgeoning Women's Studies scholar (total pandering to me, and I lap it up) and Amy Poehler and Adam Scott get all emo

all the other twinks with their fucked up dicks (billy), Friday, 18 November 2011 06:17 (fourteen years ago)

The closing seconds of this one, w/ Pratt in class, were the highlight IMO.

I liked Ron's first day of college line

On the other hand, WOMEN'S LASERS!!

Solid State Casualty (CONGO, M.D.), Friday, 18 November 2011 19:20 (fourteen years ago)

this one seemed a little like they were coasting... leaning on pretty straight riffs of each character's quirks.

the girl from spirea x (f. hazel), Friday, 18 November 2011 19:22 (fourteen years ago)

it wasn't the best episode but i'm glad they went ahead and revived the ben/leslie relationship instead of leaving them hanging all season, should make things more interesting going forward. also i liked the racist lady in the town hall meeting, and ron telling the guitar teacher she should be a brunette.

congratulations (n/a), Friday, 18 November 2011 21:27 (fourteen years ago)

For what it’s worth, you’d make an incredible brunette.

Waxahachie Swap (Jimmy The Mod Awaits The Return Of His Beloved), Friday, 18 November 2011 21:27 (fourteen years ago)

the best parts about the racist lady were the expressions on the faces of the black couple sitting a few chairs over from her

Much Ado About Nuttin (DJP), Friday, 18 November 2011 21:29 (fourteen years ago)

wasn't crazy about the tom/jerry plot (tom is my least fave character at this point and i'm an aziz ansari defender) but i liked tom's disgust at turning into jerry, going home to a loving wife and three beautiful daughters, eating a home-cooked meal.

congratulations (n/a), Friday, 18 November 2011 21:31 (fourteen years ago)

Wld like to know about Jerry's other two daughters tbrr

I am a sappy dork and I enjoyed this episode quite a bit.

Janet Snakehole (VegemiteGrrl), Saturday, 19 November 2011 06:54 (fourteen years ago)

Yeah, I think n/a OTM. It certainly wasn't as funny as the last couple of episodes, but there was a nice emotional pay-off.

This week's was better but, yeah, the secret sauce is missing. It was a good episode with good gags, but the pace is slower? Not as sharp? Can't quite put my finger on it.

Autumn Almanac, Saturday, 19 November 2011 11:11 (fourteen years ago)

i think the shoe has crossed my cutesy threshold. i'm starting to get scrubs vibes, maybe idk.

Lovin Ben's Letters to Cleo tshirt.

congratulations (n/a), Friday, 13 January 2012 01:44 (fourteen years ago)

I just came here to post that!

Nicole, Friday, 13 January 2012 01:48 (fourteen years ago)

pretty great ep - good callback to ben's inexplicable preference of calzones over pizza, and loved the slow uncomfortable attempt to get lesley on the stage at the ice rink with the music stopping and starting

congratulations (n/a), Friday, 13 January 2012 16:06 (fourteen years ago)

Yeah, I lost my shit every single time the song started over during the scene. Also, I used to own that exact same Letters to Cleo shirt.

lo-cal calzone zone

The best was the little "wait for it" pause he did before the last word.

Bon Ivoj (jaymc), Friday, 13 January 2012 16:12 (fourteen years ago)

Loved the moment they get to the stage & Leslie is flailing around on her stomach trying to stand

was watching this at the gym and i had to restrain from laughing uncontrollably at the slow walk to the stage. it started when they reached the end of the red carpet.
