Yeah, but the actually killing of Gus was hardly a deep collaboration. I mean, Jesse was all for it, but if he was worried about retribution from ... someone ... then he's pretty far down on the "people to kill" list. But why, say, Mike the Pro would want him or even Walt dead is unclear at this point. Unless they do something dumb and sick Chilean war criminals off to New Mexico or something. My guess is that both Ted business and the DEA will be tightening the noose next season. I mean, they will find Gus's car at the hospital. Why was he at the hospital? They will have video of him meeting with Jesse, who Hank will know very well. Or that old last next door to the tio will describe Walt. Not to mention Jesse's mention of ricin no doubt may draw even more Feds.

he gave walt the crucial tip-off about hector.
― the jazz zinger (s1ocki), Tuesday, October 11, 2011 2:35 PM
p sure saul did that, jesse went str8 from hospital to meth lab before he could even think of something to give walt
― lol-qaeda (am0n), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 18:40 (fourteen years ago)
Jesse's intel; Saul delivered it.

i love the compulsive need to speculate about next season in this thread - u will probably be wrong guys
― the jazz zinger (s1ocki), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 18:45 (fourteen years ago)
probably. i am still going to dream of a Walt/Hank showdown, nonetheless.
― Porto for Pyros (The Cursed Return of the Dastardly Thermo Thinwall), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 18:46 (fourteen years ago)
ND U CANT STOP ME!
jesse isn't worried about retribution - more like he's concerned that he collaborated in the killing of a boss who was grooming him for bigger things, based on a hunch from walt that turned out to be all wrong - factor in the psychological journey jesse has been on the entire season and it's easy to see why he's not like oh we blew up gus nbd
― the boy with the gorn at his side (Edward III), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 18:46 (fourteen years ago)
Hopefully next season will explore the ins and outs of the carwash game.
― polyphonic, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 18:47 (fourteen years ago)
iirc jesse told walt about hector (in the context of "where can I find gus so I can kill him"), saul connected the dots, gave walt the motivation to force gus to visit the nursing home
― the boy with the gorn at his side (Edward III), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 18:49 (fourteen years ago)
Maybe it will jump forward 18 years and holly will be a major player in the drug game Everyone else will be aged via cgi.
― Jeff, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 18:49 (fourteen years ago)
we didn't actually see gus die, he just fell over with a headache
will be back next season with ted in tow
― cozen, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 18:53 (fourteen years ago)
old trigger finger ted
― Art Arfons (La Lechera), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 18:53 (fourteen years ago)
if i know gus, pretty sure he'll "pull a robocop" and return, even more unstoppable than before. think about it - ultimate combination
― the jazz zinger (s1ocki), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 18:55 (fourteen years ago)
robogus?i like it.
― Porto for Pyros (The Cursed Return of the Dastardly Thermo Thinwall), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 18:55 (fourteen years ago)
gus gets a face transplant from ted, carries on business as usual/charitable works
― Art Arfons (La Lechera), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 18:57 (fourteen years ago)
gets a new eye from Walts pool filter.
― Porto for Pyros (The Cursed Return of the Dastardly Thermo Thinwall), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 18:59 (fourteen years ago)
we saw gus die. we did NOT see tyrus die. ~think abt it~

they did say "three dead" on the news though (doubt they were talking about old hi hello neighbor woman)

do u think it's possible that the force of the explosion may have "cured" hector??
― the jazz zinger (s1ocki), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 19:07 (fourteen years ago)
"cured" as in "smoked", yeah
― Antonio Carlos Broheem (WmC), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 19:08 (fourteen years ago)
ding
― lol-qaeda (am0n), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 19:09 (fourteen years ago)
we heard that three are dead in the explosion
I found Tyrus incredibly 2-dimensional so I'm stoked that he's dead I don't care who had to die to get him outta there
― pathos of the unwarranted encore (underrated aerosmith bootlegs I have owned), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 20:50 (fourteen years ago)
yeah he was annoying
― Number None, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 20:52 (fourteen years ago)
thirded, i meant to say that before, so fucking annoying. I AM GOOD AT A MEAN FACE
― When a German communicates, you listen (LocalGarda), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 21:03 (fourteen years ago)
The writers didn't develop that character at all.
His Zoolander face made you want to smack him.
― polyphonic, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 21:05 (fourteen years ago)
Pretty sure that the clues add up to the evil corporation behind Cluckin' Chicken gathering up the "corpses" of Fring, Tyrus, Hector, and Ted and making a Super Frankensoldier for Walt to fight in the last season. Baby Holly will be a mutant (from whatever Walt was exposed to that gave him cancer) and she will be a major player. Just wait and see.
― SNEEZED GOING DOWN STEPS, PAIN WHEN PUTTING SOCKS ON (Deric W. Haircare), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 21:07 (fourteen years ago)
tyrus was a badass you loonies
― the jazz zinger (s1ocki), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 21:11 (fourteen years ago)
who the fuck wanted his character "developed" i mean come on
Yeah, s1ocki otm -- developing Tyrus' character would have made as much sense as developing the ricin cigarette's character. He was there, he was one of the tools available in Gus' toolbox, not everybody with lines has to be fleshed out.
― Antonio Carlos Broheem (WmC), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 21:15 (fourteen years ago)
Jesse + Walt sink the remaining capital into a line of hand-rolled incense using natural herbs & plants from the mountains of New Mexico - it's a whole thing, man, all natural and very cleansing. Most episodes next season involve the nuts and bolts of making incense as the ancient peoples did, by reducing flowers and leaves to essential oil and then infusing pine resin with the resultant oil. The result is an incense that burns longer and cleaner with none of the sooty, sawdusty smell of other incenses on the market today. Jesse + Walt's all natural incenses, the entirety of the final season
― pathos of the unwarranted encore (underrated aerosmith bootlegs I have owned), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 21:15 (fourteen years ago)
To be clear I liked Tyrus and had no issues with him. But clearly he was being set up to die.
― polyphonic, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 21:15 (fourteen years ago)
xp tyrus had no character at all he was like a three-year-old's conception of the Bad Guy."What does the bad guy do?" "He's mean!"
― pathos of the unwarranted encore (underrated aerosmith bootlegs I have owned), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 21:16 (fourteen years ago)
Victor didn't have much of a character either but Tyrus was just so much more...smug
― Number None, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 21:18 (fourteen years ago)
he wasn't really that mean, he just didn't give a shit about walter or jesse
― sonderangerbot, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 21:18 (fourteen years ago)
tyrus was fuckin hilarious man. "does it have to be dirty?" "nope."
not every character needs like a 3-page monologue
― the jazz zinger (s1ocki), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 21:19 (fourteen years ago)
i wish they had fleshed out the character of that guy who walt shot in the elevator in the finale
― kaygee, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 21:19 (fourteen years ago)
and if i had to pick a defining trait it wouldn't be so much "mean" as "annoyed," which is way more entertaining.
― the jazz zinger (s1ocki), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 21:20 (fourteen years ago)
victor seemed sort of cold and a hired killer. tyrus just seemed grumpy and annoying. didn't play the part well imo, regardless of character development or lack thereof.
― When a German communicates, you listen (LocalGarda), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 21:25 (fourteen years ago)
man s if you found Tyrus entertaining then please let me sell you this 10-DVD series I've put together, The Paint That Dried
― pathos of the unwarranted encore (underrated aerosmith bootlegs I have owned), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 21:25 (fourteen years ago)
I gotta admit though, Saul's secretary became a top-10 character in 1/1000th the screen time that Tyrus got. Zero to awesome in 30 seconds.
― Antonio Carlos Broheem (WmC), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 21:26 (fourteen years ago)
idgaf the dirty laundry gag totally justified tyrus imo
i did like the dude who fring killed a lil more but
