Someone else just posted on my feed saying it reverted, then reverted back again.
Didnt happen for me!

Oh, hey, here's why they gave me that warning--which kept me from leaving Facebook by following a link.

What's the etiquette for a when a friend of a friend who you've never actually met or even heard of pokes you on Facebook? Is it expected that I should poke back, or befriend? Am I to assume this person is digging on me based on a profile picture, or are they actually trying to get me to join a paedophile ring?
― ha ha ha ha jack my swag (boxedjoy), Tuesday, 4 October 2011 09:45 (fourteen years ago)
Personally, I would never respond to a poke, because people who poke are disgusting savages imo, and I would not want to fraternise with them, even virtually. If there is such a thing as poking etiquette, then it can go hang.
― facebook conspiracy theorist (krakow), Tuesday, 4 October 2011 10:13 (fourteen years ago)
More context needed to answer this. Are they the opposite sex? Does your profile say you are single? Could you ask your friend of the pokey friend why they poked you?
― Imagineering since 1850 (captain rosie), Tuesday, 4 October 2011 13:42 (fourteen years ago)

― Pleasant Plains, Tuesday, 4 October 2011 13:57 (fourteen years ago)

I used to only friend ppl that I had met, but then I started getting a lot of requests from twitter followers. So whatever, I basically accept every thing these days. I have so little personal information on there, it doesn't really matter to me.

Tom Skilling is a famous Chicago weather forecaster and they call it SKILLING'S WEATHER.
It is cool and perfect that your dad is the local weather forecaster, btw.

re: my stranger poking misadventure, I asked our mutual friend what could have been the intention behind it and the jist was "well he probably guessed you're a homo too and he wants a bit". It doesn't state it on my profile, or even that I'm single, but whaatever - he's not bad-looking so I returned the poke like the disgusting savage I am.
