During the filming of the second season episode "Natural Born", a Huey crashed (not Airwolf itself), and killed stuntman Reid Rondell.

Does that mean 8 episodes one year and 8 the next, or one longer season with a break of a couple of months in the middle?
Since the cast & crew are only getting paid to make them as one series, and it'd be AMC splitting it into two to wring more out of it, I doubt there'd be a deliberate switch in tone between one theoretical chunk or another

Considering the fairly slow buildup that Breaking Bad tends to have, that seems like it would be incredibly frustrating. Surely they'll write with knowledge of where it'll be split?
― Number None, Friday, 30 September 2011 00:39 (fourteen years ago)
I haven't heard anything about a split. I'm assuming 16 episodes straight through until I read otherwise from a reputable source.
― Antonio Carlos Broheem (WmC), Friday, 30 September 2011 01:19 (fourteen years ago)
i don't think BB tends to have a slow buildup!

Aaron Paul: "We want to end it on a good note," he told E! Online. "Our creator Vince (Gilligan) always said that the show would probably end around season four, but they stretched it out a bit longer, so there is a bit more story to tell. We will probably split it up between season five and season six."

An impatient feeling I've been getting now and then over the last several episodes has bloomed into a realization: I'm getting sick of Walt. If Bryan Cranston has much range as an actor, he hasn't shown it.

Um, Bryan Cranston has incredible range and it's why his Breaking Bad character is nothing like other characters he's played! I can think of four roles he's been in that were so different I don't even think of them as the same actor!
Walt has gotten really one-dimensional and he's gotten smacked down for it in the episode after he got beat up by Jesse. When Walt Jr. comes by and nurses him back to health it's a real breaking moment! Is that the only time he's really cried in this series?
