Yowsa.

Black Super Furries T-shirt from last night's show (great but not truly wonderful, thanks to the El Rey's sucky sound), tan shorts.

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

left work early today. currently wearing a Neds Atomic Dustbin t-shirt from years ago, its faded but its cool. corduroy shorts and flip flops.

Chris, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

a sheepie? is that your jacket with the fluffy insidey bits di? I started thinking you might have a muff (er...you know, the ones you sling around your neck and put your hands in to keep warm - I had a fluffy white one when I was a kid).

I am wearing a splendid white singlet with evenly spaced black and green triangles print all over it. And some other stuff but that's all I wanted to mention, oh and that I thought Di looked splendid in orange and purple. Great colours together and although I have an aversion to red for my own attire, I am happy with it if it closely accompanied by purple. Angeline reminded me of this today because she said she was knitting a red and purple scarf.

haloist, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Black cords. Black t shirt, denim jacket cos it's cold, white converse trainers. The t-shirt has a cringey slogan on it but I'm not telling.....

Ronan, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Does it say FEEL THE VIBE?

Emma, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I wish........

Sad thing is you're not a million miles away. (nb this does not mean it says RAVE ON)

It was free I swear, from the clubbing society, also there was nothing else in the drawer I swear.....

Ronan, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Rave On!

I am wearing a red tshirt, a KILT with brown and kurious oranj pattern, black tights, black velcro converse which are now falling apart sigh and BIG PANTS and a black bra. I am the boringest person EVER it is time for A NEW LOOK.

Sarah, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Hahahahah cross posts - okay then does it say "Ronans Clubbing Society - Letting The Beat Control Your Body Since 1999"?

Sarah, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Bah leave me alone you bullies.

it says...............shudder "dex appeal". GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH I didn't design it, it wasn't me, jesus christ forgive me.

Ronan, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I think I would rather go naked.

I am a scruffy git today as my boss is out. Wearing grey trousers & a turquoise shirt which is in a losing battle with my chest ahem. Also trainers what a rebel I am as we are not supposed to wear them but I am sick of heels.

Emma, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

An over large Fabric Live t-shirt, pink knickers.

Anna, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Hahaha Ronan, you should really give that shirt to Mr Perry.

RickyT, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Of course your T-Shirt is made of fabric, what else would it be made of?

Pete, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

If he really wants one I'm sure I could pull some strings.......

Ronan, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I just read this thread again and WHY IS EVERYTHING I OWN SO BORING!!! I need to go on a dayime tv makeover programme or something.

Sarah, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

whats the chance of there not being one naked person in a year?....im not in the buff and im not opposing/advocating it either, but its unusual that some quirky wee fool didnt say they were naked, and giggle as they typed. ive got on night-coloured carpenters, anti-white hoodie, shark-eye tinted joe boxers and a shadow-shaded "From Ashes Rise" T. yes, ive a liking for pink.

marty mcfly, Friday, 10 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

what are carpenters? are they some type of trousers, like overall? what is night-coloured is that dark dark blue, or black???

haloist, Friday, 10 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ankle length jean skirt, had on my Big Black Boots while I was out but am barefoot now, light blue Paul Frank 'Spicolli the Hamster' longsleeve T, violet underwear set.

Wrangler Jeans and a blue cotton sweater over a grey Pop Will Eat Itself t-shirt.

bnw, Monday, 13 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

PWEI = a good thing. Regardless of what anyone else thinks.

Ned Raggett, Monday, 13 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

do people really wear ned's atomic dustbin t-shirts? with no shame?

amongst other things I'm wearing blue cotton work-type trousers that cost 50c, a $2 lesbian belt (supple shiny black vinyl, silver-ringed holes, big square silver buckle, perfect condition), 4 tiny cuts on two of my fingertips from ripping on a piece of the aforementioned belit's metal bits until I fixed it, bright orange socks, and I just found a pubic hair stuck to the end of my blue t-shirt sleeve. I think it's mine but I don't know how it got there and I'm not wearing it anymore.

haloist, Tuesday, 14 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

bathrobe. that's pretty much it

nathalie, Tuesday, 14 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

do people really wear ned's atomic dustbin t-shirts? with no shame?

Of course. I have about four or so.

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 14 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

look, I just don't think you have enough consideration for other people's mental states, which may suffer extreme disruption at the mereist himt of the idea of people owning or WEARING one (or...or...or...four!) Ned's Atomic Dustbin t-shirts. [okay you have half an excuse if your name is Ned).

haloist, Tuesday, 14 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

himt = hint, amongst various other mistakes - see what you've done to me? oh well at least it's not a radiohead t-shirt, I had a nightmare I was wearing one of those, and maryann was there to observe it.

haloist, Tuesday, 14 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

light brown and cream nike shorts, belle and sebastian t-shirt and a fuck-load of bandages

chris, Tuesday, 14 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

how much did your belle and sebastien t shirt cost? (are the bandages connected?)

haloist, Tuesday, 14 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

oh. I'm sorry. I see the bandages are from the beach incident. You should've been wearing a padded doobie brothers tee shirt instead.

spectral, Tuesday, 14 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I was going to go to TOPSHOP today to buy BEAUTIFUL NEW CLOTHES! However seeing as my credit card has gone AWOL (it is probably underneath a bunch of magazines in the house of mentalism knowing my luck) I am no longer doing so due to poverty in my "real money" account. Waaaah. So I am wearing a burgundy tshirt, a short purple and black Hennes skirt which I think is TOO SHORT, posh work shoes PANTS and TIGHTS and am destined NOT to buy a lovely long skirt like I wanted to. Boo flipping hoo.

Sarah, Tuesday, 14 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Dark blue shirt, black jumper, silvery grey jeans/trousers - I am becoming increasing paranoid about them being too short.

jel --, Tuesday, 14 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Oi Sarah if you want to do some TS shopping tomorrow b4 drinks I can help you out if you know what I mean nudge nudge.

I am wearing a ridiculous new top which is purple (=good) with sort of chiffony sleeves that are slashed all the way to the wrist. I have accessorised with a matching purple rose. It is all quite nu Goffette.

Emma, Tuesday, 14 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I was wondering if blerks (blokes) on the board often drag along birds (any bird that's convenient) when they go clothes shopping. I know I do. ISTR Rob Newman calling this the need for "the stamp of shaggability". I must admit I find the whole process (traipsing, choosing, splurging) easier w bird IN TOW (ha!).

Alan Trewartha, Tuesday, 14 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I totally refuse to go shopping with blerks as they are so rub at it. E.g. attempt to buy old boyf a lovely jumper for Xmas went like this. We go into a shop. 'That one's nice' I say. 'Yes I'll have that one' says he. 'Well why don't we have a look around to see if we can find a nicer one somewhere else?' = look of abject horror on boyf's face and muttered demands to go to the pub instead.

Emma, Tuesday, 14 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I can attest to the ridiculousness of Emma's top. Luckily though she doesn't work in any place with fast moving machinery or exposed cogs so it is unlikely that the frippery which doubles as sleeves will get caugt rending her torso limbless. It does however look rather good on her.

Shopping with anyone in tow is bad enough. Girls intent on a make- over frankly is my recipe for nightmare. And what is wrong weith me buying the first thing I see. More time to see a film.

Pete, Tuesday, 14 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Well thanks for noticing it Pete. So far I am happy to report that my limbs are intact. However the rose keeps getting in the way when I am on the phone.

Emma, Tuesday, 14 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Alan, I find clothes shopping to be something that a man should face alone. My strategy is: "that looks okay, I'll buy it, now I won't have to bother with clothes shopping for a while, right, okay, to the record shop!"...but then, maybe that's why I've ended up with trousers that are too short.

jel --, Tuesday, 14 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Shopping with anyone is horrible. If I want to buy something stupidly expensive or something stupid or walk to some shop miles away the last thing I need is some fool making me feel guilty. I don't think I've ever bought anything when I've gone shopping with other people, I don't like the disturbing insight into how my mind works they might get from watching me select/reject clothes/cds/whatever else.

Today I'm wearing a sky blue freshjive t shirt with an uncle sam type guy, but he's wearing a hockey mask. I'm also wearing fucking adidas runners which I like so much I decided they still fit me. They don't and my toes are close to bleeding.

, Tuesday, 14 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I've got to stop forgetting my fucking name.

Ronan, Tuesday, 14 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I hheart going clothes shopping with girls, whether it be for clothes for them or me, but then I just heart clothes shops for some strange reason.

chris, Tuesday, 14 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

okay you have half an excuse if your name is Ned

Quite right! Why, my favorite sez "I know the way of Ned," so I had to own it. So I should bring that and my Radiohead shirt on the trip, is what you're saying.

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 14 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)
