hey any of you guys have any recommendations for cheap parking overnight at south station?

hmm... there's a crazy garage a few streets over just outside of Chinatown that is cheap on weekends but I don't know about overnight

you might be better off driving to the Transportation Building in the theatre district and parking there, I think that's... $20/night?

actually the cheapest garage in town is probably Post Office Square but that's even further from South Station than the Transportation Building

* does anyone else work in an office that uses this phrase to mean "unavailable", lol US sports

I have a concert on Sunday at 5 at King's Chapel, if anyone is looking for something to do besides watching football. It's an hour of choral music, followed by a short walk across the Common to a wine and cheese reception. We're doing stuff by Distler, Schütz and Brahms. I think the tickets are $15?

tomorrow at 6, J and I are singing in a concert that is the last movement of Beethoven's 9th Symphony done in a chamber setting; it's a choir of 16 people with piano accompaniment with the requisite 4 soloists etc

It will be at Harvard Business School at the Class of 1959 Chapel; afterward we will likely be going to John Harvard's Brewhouse to go "holy fuck we just did that, are we fucking insane"

It went really well! I need to go back to taking voice lessons though, all of the high stuff totally killed me and I couldn't actually sing most of it. There was an archival recording made of it that I hope to get my hands on.

I knew the bass soloist from an Opera Boston show and Joei knew the soprano soloist from a show she did several years ago.
