zooey deschanel - damn, damn, damn does this woman look good

1) she is very attractive
2) she was pretty ace in Almost Famous. Perhaps the best thing about it besides F. McDormand.
3) literally everything else i've seen her in (which is admittedly not much) has been aggressively mediocre to outright terrible

I would like to reiterate:

Briefly, she mulls over what to do with the painting of a pair of moccasins on the wall. It came with the trailer and is so hideous and comically southwestern that at first I thought Deschanel had put it there as a joke. Irony isn’t her style, though. “I’m worried if I pull these weird things down, they’re going to be mad at me,” she says. “So I’m trying to figure out something I can put oooooover this.” She demonstrates by holding up a picture of smiling lambs she happens to have lying around.

I really have no opinion on her at all. I think AF and ELF are the only things I've ever seen her in and she was OK, I guess. Never listened to her band. She's very pretty in a very non-threatening way which is fine. I just immediately thought of that article when reading through this thread.
