Norwich 2-0?!

Chris, Saturday, 17 September 2011 14:49 (fourteen years ago)

Swansea have been absolutely immense off the ball.

Hmmm, is it good to be back to normal? I dunno, it shd feel more like a warm, familiar pair of slippers than this.

Louis Jaha (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 17 September 2011 15:53 (fourteen years ago)

it's a good job there's some rubbish in this league tbh

Louis Jaha (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 17 September 2011 15:57 (fourteen years ago)

great header by Velios and a well taken goal by Drenthe in Everton's win.

mizzell, Saturday, 17 September 2011 16:21 (fourteen years ago)

Loving this all out slapstick comedy approach the Arsenal are adopting this season

Juice Should Be Sterliized (Tom D.), Saturday, 17 September 2011 16:50 (fourteen years ago)

Seriously the bit leading up to the Koscielny own goal is probably the most hilariously inept passage of play I have ever seen from Arsenal

Matt DC, Saturday, 17 September 2011 17:33 (fourteen years ago)

Wenger got sick of buying classy shit centre backs and got a physical shit one instead. Genius.

yeah, i don't think that was what anyone had in mind. It's like when you have everyone giving you the same unwanted advice so eventually you get sick of hearing it and you do it and you cunt it up deliberately/half-deliberately and then you turn to them and say 'see? now fuck off.'

merts is just rificulously slow and cumbersome to the extent that his qualities are going to be undermined all the time

santos at fault for these calls tbh

talking heads, quiet smith (darraghmac), Saturday, 17 September 2011 19:11 (fourteen years ago)

mertesacker being taken apart on rte but again if you get in a 6'6" experienced german centre half in and then let a brazilian chancer dictate your line then you got problems

Giles just called koscielny 'insomnia' then got flustered.

talking heads, quiet smith (darraghmac), Saturday, 17 September 2011 19:25 (fourteen years ago)

incredible save from hennessy today. Wolves defending for the goal not even arsenal standard

talking heads, quiet smith (darraghmac), Saturday, 17 September 2011 19:55 (fourteen years ago)

karl henry really is an awful presence, just .... what's he doing in this league, in this sport? what's he hoping for?

talking heads, quiet smith (darraghmac), Saturday, 17 September 2011 20:01 (fourteen years ago)

QPR were all over Wolves. I don't recall Wolves having a shot on goal in 90 minutes. Well worth THREE AND A HALF FUCKING HOURS on the M1 and M6. M40 back much better. Should have gone up that way.

Trudi Styler, the Creator (ithappens), Saturday, 17 September 2011 20:15 (fourteen years ago)

ok is the irish equiv of motd on earlier over dere?

Ravaging Rick Rude (a hoy hoy), Saturday, 17 September 2011 20:19 (fourteen years ago)

Good tip xp. One quiet day we can found a 'routes to football grounds' thread on it.

Ismael Klata, Saturday, 17 September 2011 20:22 (fourteen years ago)

Yeah but how long are you gonna spend on the North Circ and Hanger Lane, eh. Or drive into London and get the Westway, if you're really into fun.

Skrillex Ferguson (useless chamber), Saturday, 17 September 2011 20:34 (fourteen years ago)

From where I am, North Circ to Hanger Lane's alright (go on at Brent Cross). Really, I should have got the train in an hour and a half, but wife and daughter went to visit aunt outside Wolverhampton while me and boy went to Molineux, so it just about made sense to go by car. Great awayday though. No better feeling than being in an away end when your're winning. No worse, when you're losing.

Trudi Styler, the Creator (ithappens), Saturday, 17 September 2011 20:39 (fourteen years ago)

rte premiership is on at 8pm because football matters to us

talking heads, quiet smith (darraghmac), Saturday, 17 September 2011 20:45 (fourteen years ago)

Why was Djourou even on the pitch for that fourth goal, did someone get injured again?

I woke up early & very hungover for this match but had a vague bad feeling and went back to sleep, such a great decision.

boxall, Saturday, 17 September 2011 22:14 (fourteen years ago)

Lesser-mentioned aspects of Warnock: his teeth. Dear god, his teeth. He laughed during that interview and it looked like the roof of his mouth was about to pop out.

William Bloody Swygart, Saturday, 17 September 2011 22:18 (fourteen years ago)

Also, Barton interrupting Shaun Derry's interview by lobbing a bottle at his head. Gonna be an entertaining season, innit?

William Bloody Swygart, Saturday, 17 September 2011 22:20 (fourteen years ago)

Djorou replaced Sagna (injured), Ben.

Chris, Saturday, 17 September 2011 23:12 (fourteen years ago)

I love that the BBC bothered to ask Wenger about a couple of controversial penalty decisions, like they just wanted to goad him into spluttering impotently about referees after a display of such sublime comedy.

Stevie T, Sunday, 18 September 2011 12:41 (fourteen years ago)

Ach, bad start to the derby and I didn't even get a stream up in time. Good goal?

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 18 September 2011 12:44 (fourteen years ago)

zvookster, Sunday, 18 September 2011 12:45 (fourteen years ago)

zvookster, Sunday, 18 September 2011 12:45 (fourteen years ago)

Hopefully Liverpool will turn up at some point.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 18 September 2011 12:47 (fourteen years ago)

fell to him a few yards outside the box & he hit it across the goal into the opposite top corner

zvookster, Sunday, 18 September 2011 12:48 (fourteen years ago)

Yeah was offside. I hadn't seen Carroll 'til that point.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 18 September 2011 12:50 (fourteen years ago)

zvookster, Sunday, 18 September 2011 12:51 (fourteen years ago)
