so that would make skyler smokey, right? xp

Have really enjoyed the last few eps, though I do agree that watching Walt has become increasingly painful. Upon discovering that one of the upcoming episodes is entitled 'crawl space' I concocted the following theory in a moment of drunken clarity:

Something happens which leads Walt to believe he is a dead man, so he goes to Saul to arrange this new identity/flee the country forever thing. In order to pay for the service Walt goes into the crawl space to get his cash, only to find that Skyler gave it to Ted already. Walt loses his shit and beats Ted to death. Somehow Hank finds out, and goes to arrest Walt. Walt tells Hank that he has been working for Gus under pain of death or something, and tells Hank he will help bring Gus down if Hank helps him cover up the murder of Ted. Some other stuff happens, Walt dies of cancer.

Maybe not though eh.

I would be so happy to see Ted get killed.

Matt DC, Thursday, 15 September 2011 10:59 (fourteen years ago)

Also I think Walt is going to be none too happy to see over half a million in drug money going to bail out the dude that fucked his wife but that might be the lesser of two evils at the moment.

Matt DC, Thursday, 15 September 2011 11:00 (fourteen years ago)

well Gus is clearly ben, so... Skyler is going to manipulate Gus into killing the baby!! Xp

science you guys (Clay), Thursday, 15 September 2011 11:08 (fourteen years ago)

it'd be more like over half a million in drug money going to try to ensure skylar and their finances don't come under any scrutiny but yes

conrad, Thursday, 15 September 2011 11:09 (fourteen years ago)

yeah what skylar should do is talk this over w/walt explaining simply and clearly why they need to give ted this 650k, what shes gonna do

ice cr?m, Thursday, 15 September 2011 11:10 (fourteen years ago)

Especially if Gus suddenly decides to stop paying Walt/holds his money back for some reason, and Walt finds himself in need of a load of cash. Plus obviously the offence it would cause to Walt's enormous superiority complex (I doubt Walt would be rational enough to see it as saving him and his wife from scrutiny). Think Ted is in a spot of bother. A Ted death would also leave the door open for the whole 'Skyler runs off with the baby' thing that was briefly on the cards a while back.

it's called breaking bad not fixing good

conrad, Thursday, 15 September 2011 11:12 (fourteen years ago)

Plus I don't think clearly explaining to Walt why something that he doesn't approve of needs to happen is a good idea really, as per the last scene of the last episode.

peligro, Thursday, 15 September 2011 11:14 (fourteen years ago)

eh feel like skylar could make a pretty strong case here: we will get caught and go to jail/be murdered

ice cr?m, Thursday, 15 September 2011 11:17 (fourteen years ago)

aye but all Walt would actually hear is: 'I FUCKED TED' 'I FUCKED TED' 'I FUCKED TED' 'I FUCKED TED' 'I FUCKED TED' 'I FUCKED TED' 'I FUCKED TED' 'I FUCKED TED' 'I FUCKED TED' 'I FUCKED TED' 'I FUCKED TED' 'I FUCKED TED' 'I FUCKED TED' 'I FUCKED TED'

conrad, Thursday, 15 September 2011 11:35 (fourteen years ago)

I'm starting to think that Holly doesn't suspect that Walt is a drug dealer.

Jeff, Thursday, 15 September 2011 12:57 (fourteen years ago)

Think Ted and Skylar better call Saul...

The out of nowhere reintroduction of Ted actually lends this theory some credence. We know Ted harbors a grudge against Ted, and that he's not a forgive and forget sort of guy. No doubt Walt has a long "to kill" list somewhere in his head and Ted is on it. Though I'm not sure I buy the plausibility of Skyler giving Ted $600K in cash. 'Cause if she does, Ted is going to take it and bolt, leaving Skyler to clean up his mess (with her name on it). Which is likely to happen, regardless.

Be nicely ironic if Ted turns to meth. But only the good stuff, you know. The blue stuff.

Walt, Ted, Hank, Gus, Mike, Saul ... Jesse must feel lonely as the only dude with a multiple-syllable name.

Jesse must feel lonely as the only dude with a multiple-syllable name.

Perhaps it's a metaphor for how the's the most complex personality on the show.

Marie, Skyler, Junior, that Romanian guy, and Badger beg to differ...

some lady (La Lechera), Thursday, 15 September 2011 16:23 (fourteen years ago)

Jesse is a work in progress, whereas everyone else on the show does what they do.

DSMOS has arrived (kenan), Thursday, 15 September 2011 16:26 (fourteen years ago)

I mean, if the theme of the show is that actions have consequences, and those consequences change people, Jesse is easily the most changed. And, Gus is hoping, changeable.
