"he's been caught in no man's land, no idea what he's doing there to be honest"

Ismael Klata, Saturday, 10 September 2011 21:59 (fourteen years ago)

rooney goebbels up those chances

hipstery nayme (darraghmac), Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:00 (fourteen years ago)

legendary match in no man's land final score 4-2 to england in extra time

"they think it's all over, it will be by christmas"

mark s, Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:04 (fourteen years ago)

Austria-Hungary went to pieces during the run-in

Ismael Klata, Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:05 (fourteen years ago)

city are incredible

hipstery nayme (darraghmac), Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:06 (fourteen years ago)

tackle by davies on cleverly was innocuous enougn imo? Yeah, through the man but not straight leg and not down on the foot.

hipstery nayme (darraghmac), Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:20 (fourteen years ago)

for all the decisions i've seen given in carragher's favour over the years, that's an incredibly soft penalty

hipstery nayme (darraghmac), Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:29 (fourteen years ago)

henderson..........

hipstery nayme (darraghmac), Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:30 (fourteen years ago)

That Liverpool penalty appeal at the end was fucking bollocks

MPx4A, Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:33 (fourteen years ago)

"A Difficult Place to Go" should basically be on the "Welcome to Stoke" sign on the motorway at this point

MPx4A, Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:35 (fourteen years ago)

yeah, but the first was nailed on and the one that went against them was dodge.

Phil Thompson today claimed that 'for me, Crouch is the better player' re Adebayor. Stupid cunt.

hipstery nayme (darraghmac), Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:36 (fourteen years ago)

I'unno, I wasn't that outraged by any of those decisions

MPx4A, Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:36 (fourteen years ago)

In the Liverpool game, I'll give you the Ade/Crouch one

MPx4A, Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:37 (fourteen years ago)

rafa's gone and i like em better now, but it'll be a long day yet when a decision going against liverpool will 'outrage' me tbf.

hipstery nayme (darraghmac), Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:39 (fourteen years ago)

both liverpool shouts could be construed as ball to hand, the second one for sure. carragher fell over for the stoke pen but why oh why did he have his arms wrapped round walters' groin in the first place? been a liability for a couple of years now and it's sad to see.

second only to popcorn (or something), Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:40 (fourteen years ago)

sturrrrrridge

hipstery nayme (darraghmac), Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:40 (fourteen years ago)

felt carragher was shoved for pen tbh, also ball-to-hand negated by distance of hand from body in first shout.

hipstery nayme (darraghmac), Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:42 (fourteen years ago)

meireles with the sturridge assist :(

second only to popcorn (or something), Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:42 (fourteen years ago)

i'm supposed to be the biased red ffs xp

second only to popcorn (or something), Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:42 (fourteen years ago)

ffs chelsea

hipstery nayme (darraghmac), Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:43 (fourteen years ago)

ok this Steve Bruce interview is borderline sexually arousing 2 me

MPx4A, Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:44 (fourteen years ago)

drown me in the sweet water of your tears

MPx4A, Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:44 (fourteen years ago)

great news for my fantasy league team name but oh my, asa, you fooled me. suarez was the avenging angel after all.

second only to popcorn (or something), Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:46 (fourteen years ago)

can't believe gyan went on loan without sunderland accepting an offer or anything

hipstery nayme (darraghmac), Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:46 (fourteen years ago)

first Brucie knew about it was from a shit-smeared postcard.

bittahly disappointed t'dee

MPx4A, Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:53 (fourteen years ago)

Pretty sure Agbonlahor actually threw his shirt into the crowd and then had to ask for it back at length when he remembered there were ten minutes left to play

MPx4A, Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:54 (fourteen years ago)

think Moyes asked for ominous lighting on his interview.

I didn't realise Everton should've had two other pens, pretty shabby

MPx4A, Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:55 (fourteen years ago)

fuckin refs.

Delph, eh

hipstery nayme (darraghmac), Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:56 (fourteen years ago)

He had a bad game, good riddance

Barry Bannan was pretty good

MPx4A, Saturday, 10 September 2011 22:59 (fourteen years ago)

amazing balls up from the Swansea keeper there.

Arshavin, on the other hand, would be a fine player if he never had to take more than two steps to do anything.

known for melding an outrageous stage presence with tenacious hooks (Merdeyeux), Saturday, 10 September 2011 23:01 (fourteen years ago)

bannan's good, yeah.

While i'm sympathising with carragher i'm as well to point out that scezceny's looking good

hipstery nayme (darraghmac), Saturday, 10 September 2011 23:01 (fourteen years ago)

as stupid as vorm was there it's only a handful of players that would've punished him for it. makes me more annoyed at arsh tbh.

second only to popcorn (or something), Saturday, 10 September 2011 23:04 (fourteen years ago)

mertesacker might bring lols, nakh could have called that one

hipstery nayme (darraghmac), Saturday, 10 September 2011 23:06 (fourteen years ago)

niko looking wtf so far

hipstery nayme (darraghmac), Saturday, 10 September 2011 23:08 (fourteen years ago)

Cleverly:

'Not feeling good. Feeling like I have broken my foot. Won't know more until a scan, when I know more will update,' he said.
'So angry right now, want everyone to know I got no apology from kevin davies! season could be over and received no apology.'

Number None, Saturday, 10 September 2011 23:09 (fourteen years ago)

wwcd? Luckily, adebayor doesn't stop to consider.

hipstery nayme (darraghmac), Saturday, 10 September 2011 23:11 (fourteen years ago)

He had a bit of a think

MPx4A, Saturday, 10 September 2011 23:11 (fourteen years ago)

davies has always been a wrong'un. it's weird that he seems to have been playing for over a decade yet still looks like a 6 year old with gigantism

second only to popcorn (or something), Saturday, 10 September 2011 23:18 (fourteen years ago)

I'm probably the worst person to comment on Carragher after his "Being a squad player is not enough" interview in The Times this morning.

Chris, Saturday, 10 September 2011 23:46 (fourteen years ago)

Pleased for De Gea yesterday btw. Didn't have much to do but did it well and almost set up a goal

Number None, Sunday, 11 September 2011 09:09 (fourteen years ago)

D_DeGea David De Gea
Great match!! 0-5 against Bolton with an incredible play... we hope to keep going like this... Hugs to all

how long a contract did we give give carragher when he re-upped? 3 years? Surely not 4?

pandemic, Sunday, 11 September 2011 10:44 (fourteen years ago)

tenure iirc

lol

pandemic, Sunday, 11 September 2011 11:00 (fourteen years ago)

How have Man United got so good so quickly? Compared to the dour shite they were mostly serving up last season, every single player seems to have just come screaming out of the blocks. Actually really annoyed about the Cleverly injury, hope it doesn't kill his momentum because England are sorely in need of really good passing midfielders.

Chelsea look like a slightly different proposition with Mata, Mereiles and Sturridge in there. They're picking up points without looking amazing and it's better to creep up slowly than explode into life and then go shite like they did last year. Reckon AVB doesn't know his best team yet but he'll get there.

Matt DC, Sunday, 11 September 2011 11:38 (fourteen years ago)

God, Stoke fans must take absurd pleasure when they see things like their entire defence suicidally flinging themselves in front of five Jordan Henderson shots in a row.

Matt DC, Sunday, 11 September 2011 11:42 (fourteen years ago)

Dropping Berbatov, Rooney and Anderson hitting form, the addition of Young. Simple really
