Ah, hopeless. Doing that 'arms out' thing in the aftermath just compounds it.

pandemic, Saturday, 10 September 2011 14:30 (fourteen years ago)

Never a short ball when a long one is conceivable.

Ismael Klata, Saturday, 10 September 2011 14:32 (fourteen years ago)

Is there a better player with their back to a defender than Suarez?

Chris, Saturday, 10 September 2011 14:36 (fourteen years ago)

Stories from Hull City, Stories from Hull FC (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 10 September 2011 14:55 (fourteen years ago)

I kind of really want to see Carroll now, and a series of high balls for him to do his thing with.

Ismael Klata, Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:13 (fourteen years ago)

seem to have found a stream from Tottenham TV judging by the commentary. smart move pitching Bale against Wardy.

Stories from Hull City, Stories from Hull FC (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:14 (fourteen years ago)

Henderson should've had a hattrick there.

Ismael Klata, Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:21 (fourteen years ago)

Good move that :(

1-0 Spurs

Stories from Hull City, Stories from Hull FC (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:29 (fourteen years ago)

Don't worry NV, you never lose to Spurs.

Love it when one new signing sets up a goal for another though.

Matt DC, Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:35 (fourteen years ago)

apparently kun has scored three. any gems?

sonderangerbot, Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:35 (fourteen years ago)

don't worry MDC, we ain't coming back from this.

Spurs sharper and quicker in the last 3rd, story of the second half.

Stories from Hull City, Stories from Hull FC (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:37 (fourteen years ago)

tho y'know if Big Sam Vokes wants to make a claim for more football, now wd be a good time

Stories from Hull City, Stories from Hull FC (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:38 (fourteen years ago)

BBC website has Stoke/LFC as 1-1 atm. Thought my stream was behind and awaited the equaliser with glee! That was 10 mins ago. It's not happening is it? :(

pandemic, Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:40 (fourteen years ago)

Downing has a good right foot doesn't he.

Chris, Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:45 (fourteen years ago)

No, but this siege is an encouraging way to lose at least.

Ismael Klata, Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:45 (fourteen years ago)

was xp obv

Ismael Klata, Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:46 (fourteen years ago)

Never in a million years Suarez

Number None, Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:49 (fourteen years ago)

Never in a million years Suarez

hmm, doesn't have quite the same ring as Never in doubt. Those were the days.

Skrillex Ferguson (useless chamber), Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:52 (fourteen years ago)

no no no

Chris, Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:52 (fourteen years ago)

why does the Beeb's site still insist on giving Liverpool a point?

Stories from Hull City, Stories from Hull FC (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:53 (fourteen years ago)

That was utterly agonising, but in a goodish way sort of.

Ismael Klata, Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:54 (fourteen years ago)

Fuck it

LocalGarda, Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:55 (fourteen years ago)

thought we played alright today, not enough guile or flair to unlock Spurs sadly and really wish Jamie O wd rein in the Hollywood passing a bit but plenty to take comfort from. have to resign myself to the fact that Mick will never make radical changes in a match or ever have much of a Plan B.

Adebayor looks like he wants it.

Stories from Hull City, Stories from Hull FC (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:55 (fourteen years ago)

ah, the speculative whingeing of Evertonians

MPx4A, Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:55 (fourteen years ago)

Adebayor looks like he wants it.

He usually does, at first

Number None, Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:57 (fourteen years ago)

Anyone watch Arsenal?

Chris, Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:57 (fourteen years ago)

I did, they weren't great.

boxall, Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:58 (fourteen years ago)

Flatmate was. Said Swansea had much the better of the second half

Number None, Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:58 (fourteen years ago)

Single goal from a goalie(?) error against the might of Swansea doesn't sound too hot

Stories from Hull City, Stories from Hull FC (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 10 September 2011 15:59 (fourteen years ago)

very thrilling ending at the emirates. great pressure from swansea and graham nearly made it 1-1 with a volley but it went just above the bar. arteta looked good though, loss of cesc hardly the issue.

sonderangerbot, Saturday, 10 September 2011 16:01 (fourteen years ago)

i haven't seen any stats but feeling is swansea had more shots on goal, at least in the second half?

sonderangerbot, Saturday, 10 September 2011 16:01 (fourteen years ago)

RVP missed at least one chance he'd normally put away. They sat deeper in their own half than usual and shifted the balance of their offense toward counterattacking. Benayoun looked good when he came on late, I think what he provides is going to be needed more than Arteta.

boxall, Saturday, 10 September 2011 16:03 (fourteen years ago)

lovely one-touch stuff for Aguero's 2nd today

the art of posting sideways (onimo), Saturday, 10 September 2011 16:08 (fourteen years ago)

The video on 101gg suggests Petrov's goal was the most nondescript 30 yarder ever
