Yeah, there have been minibuses organised from Mono to Platform for all the gigs that I've been to there. I prefer to cycle the wild east!

so yesterday we got to Mono about 6pm, bought our tickets and decided to have something to eat. The place was virtually empty, but somehow we still had to wait 40 minutes for our food to arrive (and these were not complicated dishes.) When it did finally turn up there was no apology or explanation (and my food was mediocre at best.) NEVER AGAIN, 13th Note HELLO

i stopped going there a long time ago. the staff are so fkng rude.

I'm going there right this minute (I live an egg-throw away). I always find the staff very pleasant, but they can be incompetent. You'd wait a long time for a drink if it was busy, but Mono isn't often very busy.

I like Heavenly, because a city centre bar where you can get change out of three quid for a pint of Guinness without being surrounded by muttering jakies is something of a rarity.

Can this wait until early February? I have a lot of January left with v little pay packet to cover it.

I shall investigate tickets up our bit of the stadium - there'll be plenty scope for moving a few rows or seats away as ICT games won't attract too much of a walk-up crowd unless we sign someone proper good in the transfer window that people want to see.

Celtic v Rangers games - vastly over-rated, usually a terrible game, 90 minutes of shiting myself that the stadium is going to fall down.

Surprised and pleased to be included in jed's roll call considering I rarely post on ilx. I would be very tempted to turn up at a Glasgow FAP - not this month though, for the same reason others have given.

Doesn't have to be - I'm not bothered either way. I had assumed ailsa and/or onimo would be going to watch the rematch of today but that was more of a guess than anything else.

Not necessarily football for everyone - onimo and I (and maybe aldo?) are going to the football that afternoon, hence early start in pub. Ward F had mentioned about maybe joining us, but I don't know if that's happening.

... there are very few decent pubs near krakow's work, it's Wetherspoon central, mostly.

Saying that, Wetherspoon = cheap real ales + very real likelihood of seats.

The vale is alright iirc.

I like the Vale, but (1) don't see it as fap-friendly and (2) doesn't it get quite busy before Celtic games? It is approx 10000000000 x better than the shithole next door.

How about Heavenly? I can take an hour & that's not far at all; I'm a fast walker.
