Odam guest started in the 2010 indie film Rainbow's End about deep east Texans on a trip to California, with the band Country Willie and the Cosmic Debris to record with him. He played himself. The movie still needs its own wiki page.

Buzzcocks are an English punk rock band formed in Bolton in 1976, led by singer–songwriter–guitarist Pete Shelley.[5]

They are regarded as an important influence on the Manchester music scene, the independent record label movement, punk rock, power pop, pop punk and indie rock. They achieved commercial success with singles that fused pop craftsmanship with rapid-fire punk energy. These singles were collected on Singles Going Steady, described by critic Ned Raggett as a "punk masterpiece".[6] The widely covered "Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)" remains one of their best-known songs.

Ned gets higher billing than their biggest song! :D

In 1977, he released the Animal Justice EP, notable particularly for the epic "Hedda Gabler", based very loosely on the Ibsen play. His often loud, abrasive and confrontational live performances fitted well with the punk rock scene developing on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Cale took to wearing a hockey goaltender's mask onstage; see the cover of the Guts compilation (1977). This look predated Friday the 13th's villain, Jason Voorhees, by several years. During one gig in Croydon he chopped the head off a dead chicken with a meat cleaver, and his band walked offstage in protest. Cale's drummer – a vegetarian – was so bothered he quit the group. Cale mocks his decision on "Chicken Shit" from the Animal Justice EP. Cale has admitted that some of his paranoia and erratic behaviour at this time was associated with heavy cocaine use.[10]

i raised an eyebrow the other week when i ran across this

There is no evidence of torture among Native Americans. The only telling of horrendous acts by Native Americans are told by Europeans themselves. However, human sacrifice and scalping were lies told by Europeans in order to justify the murder and robbery of Native Americans. In fact, the Europeans were the ones to scalp Native Americans. A general of the U.S. army had offered a reward for every Native American killed. As proof of each Native American killed, colonists would scalp Native Americans in order to present their unique long, straight, black hair as proof of the numbered killed.

and sure enough it has since been changed to

Certain Native American peoples, especially in the area that later became the eastern half of the United States, engaged in the sacrificial torture of war captives.[13]

There is much confusion over whether the lyrics are "she knows just what it takes to make a crow blush" or "... pro blush." Jackie DeShannon sings "crow" in her version, and Kim Carnes recorded it as "pro" from a mistranscription of the lyrics. This error has proliferated through numerous cover versions. The phrase "could make a crow blush" is an early 20th century Midwestern United States colloquialism meaning that one could unease someone with little effort, and the arranger from Carnes's version was unfamiliar with the term. I've always believed that 'to make a crow blush' (the original lyric) was a reference to the Native American Crow Tribe and that, even in 1981 when Native Americans were still commonly referred to as 'Red Indians', was considered to be politically incorrect.

ROFL.

from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Handedness

A layperson such as the owner of a small miniature golf business may when placing obstacles assess the results from only his/her own-"handed" perspective, such that more courses would be made difficult for right-handers than for left-handers. However, a thoughtful designer — especially a professional in the field — will likely ensure game balance by making sure to add handedness-specific obstacles in equal numbers and in places of similar tactical importance.

In the first book, a wealthy arms manufacturer, Dr Baines, comes to a black magician, Theron Ware. Initially Baines tests Ware's credentials by asking for two people to be killed, first the Governor of California, Rogan (Reagan was governor at the time of writing) and then a rival physicist. When this accomplished to Baines' satisfaction Baines reveals his real reason: he wishes to release all the demons from hell for one night to see what might happen. The book includes a lengthy description of the summoning ritual, and a detailed (and as accurate as possible, given the available literature) description of the grotesque figures of the demons as they appear.

The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart was a worldwide bestseller and reached #1 on the Billboard pop music charts—it remains the 20th best-selling comedy album in history.[8] The follow-up album, The Button-Down Mind Strikes Again! was also a massive success, and both albums held the Billboard #1 and #2 spots simultaneously, a feat unequaled until the 1991 release of Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II by hard rock band Guns N' Roses.[6]

On November 4, 2011; Pennsylvania Attorney General Linda Kelly indicted Sandusky on 40 counts of sex crimes against young boys, following a three-year investigation into allegations that he had inappropriate contact with a 15-year-old boy over the course of four years, beginning when the boy was ten years old. The boy's parents reported the incident to police in 2009.[12] A grand jury identified eight boys singled out for sexual advances or sexual assaults by Sandusky from 1994 through 2009. [13] At least 20 of the incidents allegedly took place while Sandusky was still employed at Penn State.[14]

...

On November 6, Penn State banned Sandusky from campus.[21] The Creamery ice cream shop on the Penn State campus subsequently removed from its menu the "Sandusky Blitz": a "banana flavored ice cream with chocolate covered peanuts and caramel swirl".[22][23]

Mickey Green (born 1942) is an English criminal, who has also held Irish nationality. A convicted armed robber he has allegedly been one of Britain's leading drug dealers for many years and is said to be worth at least £75 million[1].

Green was the leader of the "Wembley Mob" which specialized in armed robbery in the 1970s. For a number of years he has been wanted by police in several countries around the world for suspected drug smuggling;Mickey is also wanted for the theft of Kevin's Mum's bicycle, back in the late 50s... Gangland sources have described him as a main suspect in the slayings of London criminal figures Gilbert Wynter and Solly Nahome. His ability to evade arrest has led to him being nicknamed the pimpernel. He is said to have first become involved with drugs during the early 1980s shortly after his release from prison, for armed robbery. He has been suspected of having a number of detectives on his payroll and of being an associate of the Adams Brothers.

Academic interpretations of Inseminoid have concentrated on its treatment of the female sex and female sexualities in the context of corruption from an alien source. In addition to its depiction of the abject Sandy, who is rendered a distorted Other in the aftermath of her unnatural impregnation, the film is seen to incorporate a clash between the patriarchal and the maternal at its climax, as the mother-to-be eliminates her former friends one at a time.
