― mookieproof, Tuesday, 6 September 2011 00:46 (fourteen years ago)
I also think it's funny that the first photo - also of Montreal - was mistakenly guessed to be "Some midwest shithole?"
― Bass Materialism (EDB), Tuesday, 6 September 2011 00:46 (fourteen years ago)
Also, it was that Zigguratty tower in the middle that gave it away.

Hints:
- caital (and largest) city of its country- not a trick photo (that building is probably the closest thing the city has to a landmark)

I have no idea, looks like an industrial park outside King's Lynn but I'm assuming it's something much grander. It's a weird building because the bit on the left looks like it should be huge but it's only about 10 floors high? And that is some nondescript landscaping (or countryside).
― Ned Trifle X, Wednesday, 7 September 2011 10:26 (fourteen years ago)
So, definitely not King's Lynn.
― Ned Trifle X, Wednesday, 7 September 2011 10:27 (fourteen years ago)

It could be some industrial estate on the eastern edge of London, and it *is* quite a striking landmark
― Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 7 September 2011 11:11 (fourteen years ago)
I need to be careful with hints because I could give it away very easily. English is very widely present in the country.
