Mookieproof's is in fact Montreal, as seen from Mont Royal.

ice cr?m, Tuesday, 6 September 2011 00:44 (fourteen years ago)

sao paulo is weird man w/all those same size same color towers

ice cr?m, Tuesday, 6 September 2011 00:46 (fourteen years ago)

y'all correct

mookieproof, Tuesday, 6 September 2011 00:46 (fourteen years ago)

I also think it's funny that the first photo - also of Montreal - was mistakenly guessed to be "Some midwest shithole?"

Bass Materialism (EDB), Tuesday, 6 September 2011 00:46 (fourteen years ago)

Also, it was that Zigguratty tower in the middle that gave it away.

Bass Materialism (EDB), Tuesday, 6 September 2011 00:47 (fourteen years ago)

did anyone get the ice cr?m one yet? looks a bit like johannesburg but only a bit.

sometimes all it takes is a healthy dose of continental indiepop (tomofthenest), Wednesday, 7 September 2011 09:18 (fourteen years ago)

Hints:

- caital (and largest) city of its country
- not a trick photo (that building is probably the closest thing the city has to a landmark)

Autumn Almanac, Wednesday, 7 September 2011 09:41 (fourteen years ago)

*capital

Autumn Almanac, Wednesday, 7 September 2011 10:20 (fourteen years ago)

I have no idea, looks like an industrial park outside King's Lynn but I'm assuming it's something much grander. It's a weird building because the bit on the left looks like it should be huge but it's only about 10 floors high? And that is some nondescript landscaping (or countryside).

Ned Trifle X, Wednesday, 7 September 2011 10:26 (fourteen years ago)

wrong... hemisphere

So, definitely not King's Lynn.

Ned Trifle X, Wednesday, 7 September 2011 10:27 (fourteen years ago)

Definitely not King's Lynn.

ice cr?m, Wednesday, 7 September 2011 10:57 (fourteen years ago)

It could be some industrial estate on the eastern edge of London, and it *is* quite a striking landmark

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 7 September 2011 11:11 (fourteen years ago)

I need to be careful with hints because I could give it away very easily. English is very widely present in the country.
