Ned Trifle X, Friday, 2 September 2011 15:24 (fourteen years ago)

Was about to say it looks really Disney!

ailsa, Friday, 2 September 2011 15:24 (fourteen years ago)

prego, Friday, 2 September 2011 15:35 (fourteen years ago)

Birth Control is Sinful in the ILE Marriages (Latham Green), Friday, 2 September 2011 15:35 (fourteen years ago)

that is beautiful

remy bean, Friday, 2 September 2011 15:37 (fourteen years ago)

Oil pipeline above the ground = permafrost. Cars look like Volvos. Sweden?

remy bean, Friday, 2 September 2011 15:38 (fourteen years ago)

Not Murmansk. Not Sweden.

Ópen W. (Ówen P.), Friday, 2 September 2011 15:39 (fourteen years ago)

norway?

prego, Friday, 2 September 2011 15:39 (fourteen years ago)

And that pipeline is likely sewage or water.

Ópen W. (Ówen P.), Friday, 2 September 2011 15:39 (fourteen years ago)

Love it - is there a city in Greenland?

Ned Trifle X, Friday, 2 September 2011 15:40 (fourteen years ago)

Nuuk (Greenland) is considerably larger than this city.

Ópen W. (Ówen P.), Friday, 2 September 2011 15:41 (fourteen years ago)

its that city where a fuckin bear ate a lady

Birth Control is Sinful in the ILE Marriages (Latham Green), Friday, 2 September 2011 15:42 (fourteen years ago)

is it trondheim?

prego, Friday, 2 September 2011 15:43 (fourteen years ago)

Murmansk is comparatively a metropolis, btw:

Ópen W. (Ówen P.), Friday, 2 September 2011 15:43 (fourteen years ago)

Ilulissat

remy bean, Friday, 2 September 2011 15:43 (fourteen years ago)

Norway is correct, Trondheim is not.

Ópen W. (Ówen P.), Friday, 2 September 2011 15:44 (fourteen years ago)

I read somewhere that their periods attract bears. .

Birth Control is Sinful in the ILE Marriages (Latham Green), Friday, 2 September 2011 15:44 (fourteen years ago)

This is Ilulissat, which is strikingly similar:

remy bean, Friday, 2 September 2011 15:44 (fourteen years ago)

mahherfest

Birth Control is Sinful in the ILE Marriages (Latham Green), Friday, 2 September 2011 15:45 (fourteen years ago)

Ilulisat is a good guess but incorrect.
Man, northern towns in Greenland and Russia seem so much classier than the northern towns in Canada.

Ópen W. (Ówen P.), Friday, 2 September 2011 15:47 (fourteen years ago)

Hammerfest is wrong.

Ópen W. (Ówen P.), Friday, 2 September 2011 15:47 (fourteen years ago)

Ópen W. (Ówen P.), Friday, 2 September 2011 15:48 (fourteen years ago)

The NOrth Pole?

Birth Control is Sinful in the ILE Marriages (Latham Green), Friday, 2 September 2011 15:49 (fourteen years ago)

Nope, that's in Canada.

Ópen W. (Ówen P.), Friday, 2 September 2011 15:49 (fourteen years ago)

I was just going to go through a list of Norwegian cities but there are more than I thought. This has got to be far north though.

xp haha - yes, v. far north then! So Svalbad.

Ned Trifle X, Friday, 2 September 2011 15:50 (fourteen years ago)

fuck you sanata

Birth Control is Sinful in the ILE Marriages (Latham Green), Friday, 2 September 2011 15:53 (fourteen years ago)

One final clue cause I need to sign off: It's the most northerly town with a population greater than 1 000.

Ópen W. (Ówen P.), Friday, 2 September 2011 15:55 (fourteen years ago)

Somebody told me about this the other night, very funny: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Landsat_Island

Ópen W. (Ówen P.), Friday, 2 September 2011 15:59 (fourteen years ago)

Ned is pretty much correct, btw, it's on the Svalbard peninsula. The town is Longyearbyen and apparently there's really good skiing in early June

Ópen W. (Ówen P.), Friday, 2 September 2011 16:00 (fourteen years ago)

Ha, I just looked at a map of Norway and it said Svalbard on this island way up in the north so I just assumed it was a town. Still, Longyearbyen looks like quite the place to be.
