You know how Man City have been accused of signing up loads of players just to stop other people signing them? Well, if you *could* postpone the medicals until after transfer deadline day, and then cancel the transfer on the basis of a failed medical, you might just about be able to manufacture a situation where you 'signed' every top target of your rivals with money that you didn't have, only for them all to mysteriously 'fail' the medical once the deadline was safely out of the way, you pay nothing and none of your rivals gets the players they wanted.

I doubt you could get away with this for very long, though.

3. if chelsea get meireles then that is a good signing imo and liverpool have fucked up. not that they care, they have jordan henderson.
4. really excited to see kakuta at bolton. hope he lives up to the hype. seems like forever since he was the new henry.
5. has no-one bought cahill? surely getting 12m is more important to bolton than a year of a decent player they already bought a replacement for (wheater lol).
