Premiership has quite a long history of prolific strikers in otherwise limited teams, not sure I'm really buying this "he'd score more at a big club!" line.

It'll be interesting to see how many players I know in the Hearts/Spurs game tonight. Both teams seem to be scrabbling around to find their least important players just to get the tie out of the way. Can still see 2nd/3rd/4th string Hearts taking a tanking from 5th string Spurs though. Dunno what the record defeat is for a Scottish club in Europe over two legs (Juve 8-1 Rangers maybe?) but there's a good chance it'll be broken tonight.

Arsenal have reportedly expressed an interest in Kaka’s services, but Wenger was hoping to take him on loan. Real have refused the offer, and want to sell Kaka to the Gunners for no less than £17.5 million.

I know he got fat and all but this is a fucking bargain non? How could you not try and buy KAKA for that? If you could get him fit and playing regularly at any of the top 6, you'd win the league imo.

Coulibaly is not on spurs uefa squad list. not sure if it has to do with him impending italian citizenship, or if he's just too young.

wld p much pay for itself in sponsership, advertising and shirt sales etc.? and that 29 year old was once judged best footballer in the world. basically if you cant spend 17m on kaka then why bother getting involved in transfers at all. Kaka's so taken for granted - amazing player. He still has it too, injuries permitting, he was fine in the last world cup (albeit not in the best form or fitness admittedly). Go for it Arsene.
