It's a closed ballot, sorry. Just the nominees from above.

Erick Dampier is better than Shaq (miloaukerman), Monday, 2 January 2006 03:33 (eighteen years ago) link

well i don't suppose it maters much and it was worth voting for on principle (also tbh i had a hard time choosing 15 films from the list).

jed_ (jed), Monday, 2 January 2006 03:35 (eighteen years ago) link

tremendoid, it's scary how similar are our tastes:

Same for #1, 5/15 on the rest, 1/3 on least favorites.

remy (x Jeremy), Monday, 2 January 2006 05:44 (eighteen years ago) link

you'll get closer next year don't worry;) my list reads to me like the slow agonizing death of my inner film geek in the last 2 or 3 years. I love all those movies but I didn't have much of a pool to choose from when it came down to it. I probably saw 5 films in the theater last year- all domestic, le sigh.

Results may take a couple of weeks to formulate. I can't find which box I put my Office v.X disc in, so I've either got to find it or break down and use OpenOffice.

Voting for the same film twice is cheating! I think.
Btw I spelt Belleville Rendezvous wrong when I nominated it, a mistake that's being repeated all through the thread. Grr.

Matt #2 (Matt #2), Tuesday, 3 January 2006 23:01 (eighteen years ago) link

Erick Dampier is better than Shaq (miloaukerman), Tuesday, 3 January 2006 23:17 (eighteen years ago) link

Oh sorry Caitlin, that was meant for jed, not you: I was trying to figure out whether he meant it was ineligible because no one nominated it, or because it wasn't actually from this decade.

jaymc (jaymc), Tuesday, 3 January 2006 23:21 (eighteen years ago) link

haha, no actually, i thought it was 2001 but yr right.

I'm having shit luck finding my Office disc and may need to get a new one from the university, so I could extend voting another week if a few people want to get ballots in.
