the best house ever is when he drills holes into Dave Matthews' brain.
― odrama! (jessie monster), Tuesday, 16 September 2008 01:15 (seventeen years ago)
Based on the previews, I'm guessing water intoxication tonight.
― j.lu, Tuesday, 16 September 2008 19:02 (seventeen years ago)
Excuse me while I get a can of alphabet soup and eat my words.
(Although in the season preview megamix there were hints of a case that I think will turn out to be water intoxication.)
― j.lu, Wednesday, 17 September 2008 01:02 (seventeen years ago)
looks like Fred Durst was a one-shot deal ... i am sure that Miccio is upset.
― Eisbaer, Wednesday, 17 September 2008 05:20 (seventeen years ago)
The season premiere was pretty bad tbh
― john mccain's illegitimate black child (musically), Thursday, 18 September 2008 20:27 (seventeen years ago)
i feel like i may be in the minority here, but i am excited about the new era of comedy PI sidekick. i enjoyed their repar-tay. also, i think they are handling the House/Wilson thing okay so far, but i hope they don't drag it out all season.
― an average joe with an average flow (Roberto Spiralli), Thursday, 25 September 2008 13:34 (seventeen years ago)
house/wilson breakup is the detectie trotter of this season, i predict.
PI guy wasn't too bad. i'm guessing he'll be widely despised by the heartbroken house/wilson slash chicks.
― REIGN IN FUDGE (GOTT PUNCH II HAWKWINDZ), Thursday, 25 September 2008 14:42 (seventeen years ago)
The second episode was so much better than the first.
― Kramkoob (Catsupppppppppppppp dude 茄蕃), Thursday, 25 September 2008 17:07 (seventeen years ago)
Agreed. I still want more Chase and Cameron, though, and less Kal Penn.
― Johnny Fever, Thursday, 25 September 2008 17:56 (seventeen years ago)
I think 13 is my least favorite character. They should off her and bring in more Chase and Camz.
Also, does Kal Penn ever say anything wrong? Episode 2 had him say something "brilliant" like 2 or 3 times.
― Kramkoob (Catsupppppppppppppp dude 茄蕃), Thursday, 25 September 2008 18:00 (seventeen years ago)
well duh he's an Indian on a med show.
― Granny Dainger, Thursday, 25 September 2008 18:26 (seventeen years ago)
yeah? xp
― gabbneb, Thursday, 25 September 2008 19:30 (seventeen years ago)
oh good, it's oops
I really like the PI guy. So much so that I looked up what it would take to be a PI. Well, I wouldn't like the career very much but I think he's a pretty swell character.
― Abbott, Friday, 26 September 2008 01:56 (seventeen years ago)

Sometimes I like to remember when that guy's balls exploded in Chase's face.
Sometimes I like to remember that.
― Abbott of the Trapezoid Monks (Abbott), Sunday, 23 November 2008 02:58 (seventeen years ago)
Oh and right Wilson threw some pretty good booze through a window at House's father's funeral wherein House stole some of his father's flesh for a DNA sample. That was memorable and it did not even involve anal hemorrhaging.
― Abbott of the Trapezoid Monks (Abbott), Sunday, 23 November 2008 03:00 (seventeen years ago)
Dude okay House's patient-saving epiphany/metaphor was this NOIZE 45 that he played through an amp as big as himself and played constantly at Wilson after he got a patient to sue Wilson omg.
THIS, this, this....THIS> THIS was fucking EPIC.
― Abbott of the Trapezoid Monks (Abbott), Sunday, 23 November 2008 03:11 (seventeen years ago)
LOL ... i actually converted a college friend who back then was totally into NOIZE stuff like pussy galore from "house" skeptic to a "house" fan after i showed him that episode.
― Eisbaer, Wednesday, 3 December 2008 06:15 (seventeen years ago)
... even though both he and i were wondering why the 30-something punk rocker/loser with a lifestyle like GG Allin from that episode looked more like someone from Fall Out Boy than, er, GG Allin.
― Eisbaer, Wednesday, 3 December 2008 06:21 (seventeen years ago)
Is it just me or are the last-second medical explanations less and less coherent?
― WmC, Tuesday, 27 January 2009 02:25 (seventeen years ago)
it is not just you.
and i don't care about the foreman/13 relationship at all.
― abe lincoln said, "don't diss my homies!" (GOTT PUNCH II HAWKWINDZ), Tuesday, 27 January 2009 05:39 (seventeen years ago)
and i'm a little annoyed with the "cuddy is an emotional wreck of a woman who wants/doesn't want/wants a baby" subplot.
Foreman/13 is boring as hell-heck.
― i'm shy (Abbott), Friday, 30 January 2009 19:08 (seventeen years ago)
imo this show & the tony shaloub joint where hes ocd both represent the endpoint of just-barely-clever enough quirky bullshit that isnt actually smarter or funnier or more intersting than a typical episode of according to jim but tricks herbs in their late 20s into buying dvds and using it as comfort food for some reason
― and what, Friday, 30 January 2009 19:12 (seventeen years ago)
idk what according to jim is, but i'm sure it has the acting and character quality of house

I know she supposedly has huntington's disease and all, but why does 13 have such low self-esteem? I mean I could probably get a date with her and might actually marry her if push came to shove (if she wasn't just a tv character). We could have mnage à trois the way they're supposed to be - and then I could make fun of her and she'd be like, oh lorax i have such low self-esteem, what can I do to make you feel better
― CaptainLorax, Friday, 30 January 2009 19:47 (seventeen years ago)
lorax otm

she is willing to settle with Foreman
― CaptainLorax, Friday, 30 January 2009 20:05 (seventeen years ago)
She is willing to settle with an esteemed doctor, yes.
― i'm shy (Abbott), Friday, 30 January 2009 20:14 (seventeen years ago)
There may be good doctors on that show, but nobody is esteemed.
― WmC, Friday, 30 January 2009 20:19 (seventeen years ago)
now u sound like 13
― Lamp, Friday, 30 January 2009 20:20 (seventeen years ago)
13 looks like an alien. would smash.
― cutty, Friday, 30 January 2009 20:22 (seventeen years ago)
you used 'smash' in an intentionally ambiguous way
― CaptainLorax, Friday, 30 January 2009 20:24 (seventeen years ago)
sadistic bastard
― CaptainLorax, Friday, 30 January 2009 20:25 (seventeen years ago)
someone finally made a youtube video out of the pussy galore song that House played for Wilson about a year ago:
― LOLBJ (Eisbaer), Tuesday, 10 March 2009 02:32 (seventeen years ago)
This week's episode was the worst in the history of the show. Every character was acting like a more contented, friendlier, hyper-sensitive version of their usual selves. And I didn't care about that patient at all. The way the episode handled his relationship with his wife (which decayed in maybe ten minutes of showtime) was right out of a daytime soap opera. Everything about this episode was awful.
The previous two episodes were so great that I got my hopes up for a strong finish to the season after so many ups and downs.
― NoTimeBeforeTime, Saturday, 14 March 2009 20:15 (seventeen years ago)
