i haven't read the books but just assume that any character in this show could die at any minute

i don't think i spoiled anything by simply naming a new character?! we've been talking about season 2 casting for the last 10000 posts

ciderpress, Tuesday, 19 July 2011 19:48 (fourteen years ago)

not saying anyone spoiled anything! just, you know, be mindful of stuff

Aerosol, Tuesday, 19 July 2011 19:53 (fourteen years ago)

was that directed at me? i haven't read anything either! i just assumed a big name would be more prone to getting killed.
i'm pretty much expecting minor spoilage on this thread at this point. and with my memory i'm going to have forgotten anything said here by 2016 when season 2 comes out.

Well, I had Books 2 & 3 in paperback, but I'm afeared my copy of Book 4 is HC.

if a film ever gets made of The Wasp Factory the kid that plays Joffrey needs to be cast as Frank.

What happened to Alan Rickman? I thought he was all super-rumored to be cast as Stannis. Or maybe that was another character?

She Got the Shakes, Wednesday, 20 July 2011 10:57 (fourteen years ago)

alan rickman was never in the conversation - you're probably just thinking of some fan speculation. he's got other shit to do, and besides that he's like 20 years older than mark addy (stannis' older brother on the show)

DEHUMANIZE YOURSELF AND FACE TO BLOODSHED (Princess TamTam), Wednesday, 20 July 2011 12:10 (fourteen years ago)

i don't really understand what it is with alan rickman and americans of a certain persuasion

thomp, Wednesday, 20 July 2011 12:15 (fourteen years ago)

he's so dark + moody!

Mordy, Wednesday, 20 July 2011 12:22 (fourteen years ago)

ha i was gonna say alan rick is too goth for game of thrones

max, Wednesday, 20 July 2011 12:24 (fourteen years ago)

maybe he could play a braavosi banker or something

max, Wednesday, 20 July 2011 12:25 (fourteen years ago)

has he ever been in anything actually good

thomp, Wednesday, 20 July 2011 12:28 (fourteen years ago)
