Yes. I still watch it, though. It'd be just my luck if the show got amazing the moment I stopped watching it (I like the premise, I've just hated, well, pretty much everything about the execution).

The deal with the DVDs was this: Rob Thomas was given the option to release a bare bones set before the second season premiered, or a set full of extras sometime in January. He opted for the former, but ended up getting neither. Warner Brothers (who produce the show, despite the fact that it's on UPN) decided because the Desperate Housewives and OC DVD sets were also being released in September that they should delay the release of the VM set. So the set is being released on Oct 14th, with virtually no extras. It sucks all around.

The reruns they showed of just the episodes relevant to the overall story thread got me totally caught up from having seen one mid-season episode earlier and not following it at all. But I'm back to Lost so I hope they do that again this summer.

I like her hairstyle better this year, so I will give the show a chance. Saw a couple WB veterans in the last 15 minutes I managed to catch tonight. She looks now, like a cross between Buffy and a Laguna Beach cast member.

the duncan thing logan thing I can forgive though, it's the non-xander

weevil looked cool in the closing scenes, like someone had photoshopped his living head

all in all, I agree with rich, but raise to an interesting start, which effortlessly side-steps a lot of the concerns I had coming to the end of the first season by introducing a lot of new concerns of its own
