For FOX though, I wonder sometimes if they are delusional about their methods a bit. Because their propaganda techniques are so relentless and blatantly self aware, they must really feel passionate about the objective they're trying to achieve through them. Tirelessly trying to scare or rally people in order to get everyone back to some sort of 1950s mindset has to be a lot of work, and they must know they are sacrificing legitimacy to get it. But they probably never step back even a little to say "If we have to manipulate as hard as we are right now, than is there anything wrong with _____ in the first place?"
