sort of love the google logos that are utterly illegible even though you know what they're supposed to say (hint: google)

I like the Scarry logo (we didn't get to see it in the UK).
Also I like how the Les Paul logo can be played, either by strumming the strings with the mouse pointer, or by using the keyboard.

Interesting open tunings on the guitar!

But shouldn't a Les Paul tribute be an electric guitar? (sounds like an acoustic to me, but maybe it's just my crappy laptop speakers)

The keyboard mapping is a hoot - I'm trying to play stuff on it now; it actually works more like a piano keyboard.

Lee626, Thursday, 9 June 2011 07:19 (fifteen years ago)

Sounds like an electric to me, like a twangy country style one.

“this dog won’t hunt” doesn’t appear in the Book of Proverbs (Trayce), Thursday, 9 June 2011 07:22 (fifteen years ago)

I guess that's what an electric guitar built around a railroad log sound like, then....

Lee626, Thursday, 9 June 2011 07:28 (fifteen years ago)

okay, i hadn't realized you could play this it! so awesome. sounds electric and twangy, but not at all distorted. like a clean les paul!

ooh, click + drag!

ledge, Friday, 22 July 2011 09:17 (fourteen years ago)

collisions evident, not sure calder would stand for that.

ledge, Friday, 22 July 2011 09:17 (fourteen years ago)

omg it rotates! :o

Bloompsday (Trayce), Friday, 22 July 2011 09:18 (fourteen years ago)

not sure there are collisions - i think the way the wire is bent (and the way the virtual version is programmed) restricts the movements of each of the pivots so that the vanes can't collide. (grab the bog yellow thing and spin it - the big blue thing starts moving before collision can happen)

the lack of depth perception is confusing sometimes though.

I forwarded a letter to my senator about my opposition to the "Stop Online Piracy Act". I actually got an e-mail back (this stuff happened about a month ago). The letter back talked about why I shouldn't be concerned and how only foreign websites are going to be effected blah blah blah. Now I'm pissed off at my senator. Why couldn't he have just ignored my letter. I was also pissed off when I got a letter back in which my senator defended cuts to unemployment comp. I hate that he gets the last word

Functional pitch-bend wheel if you can get the mouse pointer there in time

Lee971 (Lee626), Wednesday, 23 May 2012 07:37 (fourteen years ago)

you just gotta use yr keyboard for the keys, leaves your mouse free for the pitch bending and oscillators, etc.

spextor vs bextor (contenderizer), Wednesday, 23 May 2012 07:47 (fourteen years ago)
