i absolutely <3 House. I wanna get Lupus (not really) and ask him for advice.
― stevienixed, Tuesday, 13 May 2008 08:11 (eighteen years ago)
I would watch this show 24/7 if it always featured his boss in stripper-Catholic schoolgirl attire.
― milo z, Tuesday, 13 May 2008 16:55 (eighteen years ago)
^ok i guess i will watch this on my dvr
― Granny Dainger, Tuesday, 13 May 2008 16:58 (eighteen years ago)
the two aren't mutually exclusive, dudes.
I don't think either of us were responding to your comment!
― musically, Tuesday, 13 May 2008 20:45 (eighteen years ago)
So is this just the most fanservice-y show on network television now (aside, maybe, from 30 Rock)? Schoolgirl Cutty seemed like a direct response to forum comments or something.
That said, this show just keeps getting more ridiculous and I just keep loving it.
― en i see kay, Tuesday, 13 May 2008 20:58 (eighteen years ago)
ok this was the best episode since I started watching the show. And not just cause of the Cutty striptease. Obv bite off of Eternal Sunshine to some degree, but who cares.
― Granny Dainger, Wednesday, 14 May 2008 01:12 (eighteen years ago)
HOLY FUCKING FUCK THIS EPISODE
Glad they are ending it with insaniac hallucinatory narrative like season finales of 1 & 2.
― Abbott, Wednesday, 14 May 2008 04:40 (eighteen years ago)
They could have been talking about how her bilious and saturnine humors are imbalanced while Cuddy was stripping, I wasn't paying attention. And then BAR IN THIGH HOLY OUCH.
How it competes with a man's testicles exploding in Chase's face, I cannot decide (this is a House moment against which I judge many others).
― Abbott, Wednesday, 14 May 2008 04:43 (eighteen years ago)
So him and Amber --- secret affair or what?
And if we assume she was in the bar with him before they got on the bus, why didn't she just drive him home? Or were they both wasted??
― Viceroy, Wednesday, 14 May 2008 04:47 (eighteen years ago)
That was fantastic. So was Fred Durst the actual bartender, or was his entire existence a hallucination?
― clotpoll, Wednesday, 14 May 2008 18:40 (eighteen years ago)
Ok, why did she bother to sit down on the bus? Her car was at the bar, right?
That was depressing as all hell, great acting all around, but there's something that rings a little false about the way they're working to make House the most miserable character possible.
― clotpoll, Wednesday, 21 May 2008 05:02 (eighteen years ago)
Part 2 seemed like the result of writers running out a gas during an otherwise productive coke-fueled session.
― Granny Dainger, Wednesday, 21 May 2008 05:09 (eighteen years ago)
I dunno... I thought that part 2 was pretty great (and the whole second half of this season has been terrific). I didn't think to look to see if hallucination House was limping.
Wilson may be more miserable than House (even before Amber showed up) - he has House as his best friend.
― Elvis Telecom, Wednesday, 21 May 2008 05:30 (eighteen years ago)
it wasn't bad, things just seemed forced. the first part was nearly a virtuoso performance by all parts.
― Granny Dainger, Wednesday, 21 May 2008 05:55 (eighteen years ago)
I wish Fred Durst's entire existence was a hallucination.
― musically, Wednesday, 21 May 2008 06:35 (eighteen years ago)
i agree w/GD, second part was a bit of a let down.
― GOTT PUNCH II HAWKWINDZ, Wednesday, 21 May 2008 09:22 (eighteen years ago)
I thought the Wilson/Amber relationship was somewhat forced.
― Bill Magill, Wednesday, 21 May 2008 15:37 (eighteen years ago)
okay this show is awesome

100% OTM.
― Eisbaer, Sunday, 14 September 2008 06:02 (seventeen years ago)
plz for this season to include more Cameron, Chase and Foreman and less Kal Penn!
Also, am I alone in hating Wilson? I know I was supposed to be sad for him in last season's finale, but I kind of hate him and actually derive joy from his sorrow.
― Johnny Fever, Sunday, 14 September 2008 06:24 (seventeen years ago)
hugh laurie's been booked till 2012 apparently
― admin log special guest star (DG), Sunday, 14 September 2008 12:11 (seventeen years ago)
Wilson has become less and less likable the more episodes I've seen -- esp the season 3 drug stuff and the end of s4.
― html tsar (Catsupppppppppppppp dude 茄蕃), Sunday, 14 September 2008 16:05 (seventeen years ago)
yeah i need to watch more of this
― the valves of houston (gbx), Sunday, 14 September 2008 16:10 (seventeen years ago)
I can't wait for the new season. <3 House.
― Fr. Jemima Racktouey (ENBB), Sunday, 14 September 2008 16:26 (seventeen years ago)
hate to break it to you johnny fever, but i think this season is gonna be all about wilson-house "you killed my girlfriend!" conflict...
hate to break it to you johnny fever, but i think this season is gonna be all about wilson-house "you killed my girlfriend!" conflict...
Quoting from the longish EW article this week...
Because you can't kill a guy's girlfriend without bruising some feelings, the accident establishes this season's central conflict. (Warning: spoilers galore!) Picking up two months later, Wilson returns to the hospital and announces that he's resigning, having decided to put some distance between him and his ex–best pal — though he'll eventually return to help House with a personal crisis. Says Shore, ''We haven't terminated Robert Sean Leonard's contract.''
― Elvis Telecom, Sunday, 14 September 2008 20:01 (seventeen years ago)
well damn.
― tehresa, Sunday, 14 September 2008 20:09 (seventeen years ago)
oh great real glad i read the latter part of this thread, thanks jerks
― the valves of houston (gbx), Sunday, 14 September 2008 20:52 (seventeen years ago)
Yeah not too stoked that it will obv be House & Wilson sad-out, but when House convinces Wilson to stand on his desk and recite some Robert Frost or something, House will go down as Inspirational Doctor of the Year.
― Abbott, Sunday, 14 September 2008 21:11 (seventeen years ago)
SEASON ENDING SPOILER: Wilson ends up talking to his dad about Shakespeare and kills himself.
― Abbott, Sunday, 14 September 2008 21:14 (seventeen years ago)
Back on tonight, right?
― Abbott, Monday, 15 September 2008 19:22 (seventeen years ago)
it's tomorrow according to tv.com
― celebrated pop troubadour Stefan Dennis (Roberto Spiralli), Monday, 15 September 2008 19:26 (seventeen years ago)
Oh right, I thought today was Tuesday. I am bad enough at linear time as it stands, but I have a cold now, so everything's off in Cloudland...
― Abbott, Monday, 15 September 2008 19:28 (seventeen years ago)
irritatingly i'm going to a meeting in the building they use as the exterior of the hospital tomorrow, meaning i'll be missing house but sort of closer to him than ever (sparkly_heart_house.gif)
― REIGN IN FUDGE (GOTT PUNCH II HAWKWINDZ), Tuesday, 16 September 2008 01:08 (seventeen years ago)
the best house ever is when he drills holes into Dave Matthews' brain.
― odrama! (jessie monster), Tuesday, 16 September 2008 01:15 (seventeen years ago)
Based on the previews, I'm guessing water intoxication tonight.
― j.lu, Tuesday, 16 September 2008 19:02 (seventeen years ago)
Excuse me while I get a can of alphabet soup and eat my words.
(Although in the season preview megamix there were hints of a case that I think will turn out to be water intoxication.)
― j.lu, Wednesday, 17 September 2008 01:02 (seventeen years ago)
looks like Fred Durst was a one-shot deal ... i am sure that Miccio is upset.
― Eisbaer, Wednesday, 17 September 2008 05:20 (seventeen years ago)
The season premiere was pretty bad tbh
― john mccain's illegitimate black child (musically), Thursday, 18 September 2008 20:27 (seventeen years ago)
i feel like i may be in the minority here, but i am excited about the new era of comedy PI sidekick. i enjoyed their repar-tay. also, i think they are handling the House/Wilson thing okay so far, but i hope they don't drag it out all season.
― an average joe with an average flow (Roberto Spiralli), Thursday, 25 September 2008 13:34 (seventeen years ago)
house/wilson breakup is the detectie trotter of this season, i predict.
PI guy wasn't too bad. i'm guessing he'll be widely despised by the heartbroken house/wilson slash chicks.
― REIGN IN FUDGE (GOTT PUNCH II HAWKWINDZ), Thursday, 25 September 2008 14:42 (seventeen years ago)
The second episode was so much better than the first.
― Kramkoob (Catsupppppppppppppp dude 茄蕃), Thursday, 25 September 2008 17:07 (seventeen years ago)
Agreed. I still want more Chase and Cameron, though, and less Kal Penn.
― Johnny Fever, Thursday, 25 September 2008 17:56 (seventeen years ago)
I think 13 is my least favorite character. They should off her and bring in more Chase and Camz.
Also, does Kal Penn ever say anything wrong? Episode 2 had him say something "brilliant" like 2 or 3 times.
― Kramkoob (Catsupppppppppppppp dude 茄蕃), Thursday, 25 September 2008 18:00 (seventeen years ago)
well duh he's an Indian on a med show.
― Granny Dainger, Thursday, 25 September 2008 18:26 (seventeen years ago)
yeah? xp
― gabbneb, Thursday, 25 September 2008 19:30 (seventeen years ago)
oh good, it's oops
I really like the PI guy. So much so that I looked up what it would take to be a PI. Well, I wouldn't like the career very much but I think he's a pretty swell character.
― Abbott, Friday, 26 September 2008 01:56 (seventeen years ago)
keep fighting the good fight, gabbneb
― Granny Dainger, Friday, 26 September 2008 14:25 (seventeen years ago)
They switched the time slot those fuckers! Grrrrrrrr.
