So is this just the most fanservice-y show on network television now (aside, maybe, from 30 Rock)? Schoolgirl Cutty seemed like a direct response to forum comments or something.

That said, this show just keeps getting more ridiculous and I just keep loving it.

ok this was the best episode since I started watching the show. And not just cause of the Cutty striptease. Obv bite off of Eternal Sunshine to some degree, but who cares.

Glad they are ending it with insaniac hallucinatory narrative like season finales of 1 & 2.

They could have been talking about how her bilious and saturnine humors are imbalanced while Cuddy was stripping, I wasn't paying attention. And then BAR IN THIGH HOLY OUCH.

How it competes with a man's testicles exploding in Chase's face, I cannot decide (this is a House moment against which I judge many others).

So him and Amber --- secret affair or what?

And if we assume she was in the bar with him before they got on the bus, why didn't she just drive him home? Or were they both wasted??

That was fantastic. So was Fred Durst the actual bartender, or was his entire existence a hallucination?

That was depressing as all hell, great acting all around, but there's something that rings a little false about the way they're working to make House the most miserable character possible.

Part 2 seemed like the result of writers running out a gas during an otherwise productive coke-fueled session.

I dunno... I thought that part 2 was pretty great (and the whole second half of this season has been terrific). I didn't think to look to see if hallucination House was limping.

Wilson may be more miserable than House (even before Amber showed up) - he has House as his best friend.

it wasn't bad, things just seemed forced. the first part was nearly a virtuoso performance by all parts.

I wish Fred Durst's entire existence was a hallucination.

i agree w/GD, second part was a bit of a let down.

I thought the Wilson/Amber relationship was somewhat forced.

Also, am I alone in hating Wilson? I know I was supposed to be sad for him in last season's finale, but I kind of hate him and actually derive joy from his sorrow.

Wilson has become less and less likable the more episodes I've seen -- esp the season 3 drug stuff and the end of s4.

Yeah not too stoked that it will obv be House & Wilson sad-out, but when House convinces Wilson to stand on his desk and recite some Robert Frost or something, House will go down as Inspirational Doctor of the Year.

The season premiere was pretty bad tbh

i feel like i may be in the minority here, but i am excited about the new era of comedy PI sidekick. i enjoyed their repar-tay. also, i think they are handling the House/Wilson thing okay so far, but i hope they don't drag it out all season.

house/wilson breakup is the detectie trotter of this season, i predict.

PI guy wasn't too bad. i'm guessing he'll be widely despised by the heartbroken house/wilson slash chicks.

I think 13 is my least favorite character. They should off her and bring in more Chase and Camz.

Also, does Kal Penn ever say anything wrong? Episode 2 had him say something "brilliant" like 2 or 3 times.

I really like the PI guy. So much so that I looked up what it would take to be a PI. Well, I wouldn't like the career very much but I think he's a pretty swell character.
