Trypophilia and Trypophobia: A Picture Thread? (Not exactly NSFW but some deeply disturbing images in here)

OK, I had been going by the title of the page. A great majority of the photos are trypophobic images. That's why I was confused.

This thread is about trypophobia. It's on a general-interest board called I Love Everything. ILE is part of a collection of general and special interest boards called ILX. This thread is about trypophobia. There are several thousand other threads on ILX.

Yes, I saw the list of the other special interest groups. Since I've had trypophobia since I was a child (along with my sister), I now have the internet and can see how many others have it and what images skeeve people out. The facebook group has over 4,000 members. This group is more edgy, which is why I joined, and then I got tossed out. The offending photo is posted in the facebook trypo gallery, which contains over 2,000 photos. Anyway, very few people are offended by that photo. {I wasn't the one who posted it by the way.) There was a debate as to what caused the injury to the woman's hand. It was decided it was caused by a paper shredder. Since the facebook group is more conservative than this one, I was taken aback when people here complained about it. The only image that facebook forbids is nudity, which is why the "lotus boob" or "lotus testicles" are not allowed to be posted there. FYI, a number of trypophobes suffer from other underlying issues, such as anxiety disorders, OCD, ADD, depression, bipolar disorders, and others. Just sayin'.

I googled Little Dot and it's an old comic book character (1949-1942) obsessed with dots and spots. I'm wondering if the guy who drew it had trypophobia and didn't realize it. Weird.

I gather the Netherlands has a lot of Surinamese fast food takeaways, since Surinam is a former Dutch colony and there are around a million Surinamese living in .nl.

The food sounds interesting but I fear if I ordered one I'd be unable to eat much, with images of Suriname toads flicking through my mind all the time.

Wmc: Sorry, what is a tag?

When I post a video on facebook from YouTube, I click on "share" and copy on paste the web link on the page. A description of the video, a still pic of the video, and the arrow to start it shows up. Here, only the link shows like the boiling bubbles shows.

Tags are the little bits of instruction between brackets that indicate that something should be bold or italicized or an image link or a URL link or whatnot. In "[ img ] (image location) [ /img ]" the things on either side of (image location) are tags.

To post Youtube vids here, just post the video's URL from your browser's location bar; don't use the Embed instructions.
