We all decided it would be a good idea if we used aliases on stage so no one would recognize us. The joys of psychedelics..our guitarist called himself gargamel, I was Bert j gandolfo, chris penski, Gus jablonski, three ball jones, and chippy chapman. We were fucking high.

Oh and needless to say we all got suspended.

oh whoops! i get asked about this by a surprisingly large number of (white) people, and it's weird because haole-resentment is a thing, just like you'd expect it to be in an imperial colony with a mostly-native underclass, but it's not really a serious thing and a lot of people on the west coast ask me about it in hushed commiserating tones like they think people are being lynched and it always weirds me out/makes me uncomfortable and then i feel guilty for making whatever jokes i made about it.

Hahah the Whitehall Vikings had the exact same mascot/logo but in West Michigan. Is there only one set of HS logos in the WORLD, like one wildcat, one anchor, one viking, one...whatever. I know that it's the same everywhere, I KNOW it, and yet whenever I see that damn viking, I get a little shock of recognition.
