i read this and thought HOLY SHIT BUBBLES IS IN THIS? and googled and discovered this was carcetti, and wondered why i'd been so sure that the guy who played bubbles was named aiden gillen, and then realized that this was because i'd gotten the name from the wire's opening credits and i know a guy named adrian who with an earlier haircut looked a lot like bubbles. i'm just posting this because i was proud of getting to the bottom of it so quickly.

that was Bronn, the mercenary who kicked ass & cracked jokes w/Tyrion on the trip up to the Eyrie. He wasn't really wearing armor, just leather, which is partly how he beat a slower knight in full plate.

Yeah, I totally had to read a recap to figure out that he was a mercenary/ronin/whatever that Cat picked up at that tavern, and not part of her retinue (which I'd forgotten consisted only of Awesome-Sideburns Dude).

When the Dancing King told Arya that there's only one god, I was dreading more BSG-level nonsense, but then: "Not today"! Love this guy.

stannis is king robert baratheon's brother. not renly, the gay one, but the other one. he's stern and tall and got stuck managing an island he doesn't really want. his chief characteristic is that he's not very likeable.

They haven't even cast Stannis yet as far as i know
