in the end i guess our second goal - was it Seb? - kept us up before Spurs won. i've only ever walked away from watching us once, think it was 3-0 down to Everton at half time this season and i didn't wanna start drinking heavily so i walked away.
love Mick and have nothing but gratitude for what he's done but i swear he's at the end of his ability to improve things and i think the squad we've got shd have performed better than it did this season, even before i start ranting about the makeweights that don't deserve to be there.
have enjoyed Blackpool like everybody else but ultimately i think Martinez is a better manager and dude than Holloway and i'm pleased for him

Villa Park was a beautiful place today. Think we hadn't beaten Pool at VP for ?17 years, and hadn't kept a clean sheet in about the same. Friedel pulled off one of those ridic saves I referred to yesterday to ensure the latter, like the net already visibly bulging in yr mind and it inexplicably not happening
And yet, no-one really cared because of Blues, which possibly reflects badly on us, but enh I like parties. "going up, going down", all game, everyone gleefully applauding the Molineux pitch invasion on the big screen
I almost feel Stewart Downing should be awarded the absurd 3.7 million prize money he won Villa today, for the sheer hilarious financial enormity of his otherwise inconsequential goal; but he'd spend it on chairs
