"next on" spoilers are viewed as spoilers on most message boards, whether or not posters have a direct lie to show runners.― President Keyes, Thursday, May 19, 2011 9:38 PM (7 minutes ago) Bookmark

this is hilarious. it's a fuckin sitcom.

Your story has become tiresome.
― Peyton Flanders (Nicole), Thursday, 19 May 2011 20:48 (fifteen years ago)
Single most disappointing thing about this week of clusterfucks is the mean-spirited behaviour of a small number of people. This discussion has run its course, P&R is the best on television anywhere imo, let's enjoy the fact that it finishes in a few hours and is back in a few months.
― 百万个叉烧包 (Autumn Almanac), Thursday, 19 May 2011 20:54 (fifteen years ago)
yeah, you were pretty mean to Johnny over nothing at all, let's move on.
― some dude, Thursday, 19 May 2011 20:58 (fifteen years ago)
hey mayne we all know you think the show sucks, too many more posts establishing that fact without any argument = trolling.
― Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 19 May 2011 20:59 (fifteen years ago)
I think you just blew his mind, Matt

Exactly as hilarious as you hanging out on a thread about a sitcom you don't think is funny. None of this shit we do here makes fucking sense.
― President Keyes, Thursday, 19 May 2011 23:14 (fifteen years ago)
pvmooc, nrq does not think this sitcom is hilarious
― the man who forsook his wife for fap fap fap (sic), Friday, 20 May 2011 01:04 (fifteen years ago)
tbf I didn't think this sitcom was hilarious until I forced myself to sit through maybe 12 episodes
― 百万个叉烧包 (Autumn Almanac), Friday, 20 May 2011 01:14 (fifteen years ago)
i like the show but i don't get "laugh out loud funny" from it -- it's like oh tee hee how cute/clever more often than not imo
― some dude, Friday, 20 May 2011 01:17 (fifteen years ago)
oh man, I literally cry with laughter in nearly every episode
― 百万个叉烧包 (Autumn Almanac), Friday, 20 May 2011 01:19 (fifteen years ago)
Exactly

surprised at how much of a spoiler that actually ended up being
― marc gasloi (symsymsym), Friday, 20 May 2011 07:10 (fifteen years ago)
omg cliffhanger!! So much going on at the end.
One thing I really noticed this week (but have been dimly aware of for a whole) is that the show will deliver a simple gag with a simple punchline and then Andy will react in a way that magnifies it tenfold. He is so so great.
― 百万个叉烧包 (Autumn Almanac), Friday, 20 May 2011 12:50 (fifteen years ago)
oh fuck it I love everything about this show, absolutely everything
Ron swiveling in his circular desk made me CRY I was laughing so hard
THIS is a perfect example of them maximising the comic potential of a character. How do you make Ron unhappy? Take away his hidey hole and force him to be accountable to everyone. I know I keep using words like "brilliant" but seriously.
― 百万个叉烧包 (Autumn Almanac), Friday, 20 May 2011 12:55 (fifteen years ago)
"Order stocks! Buy buy buy!" messsed up that quote but Administrative Assistant Andy is fantastic.

Great little touch: using "Wild Horses" & "A Horse With No Name" (plus Andy's song) as source music during the reception.
― Handjobs for a sport (C. Grisso/McCain), Friday, 20 May 2011 15:50 (fifteen years ago)
It kinda was, but still didn't really blow the fun imo.
I didn't like sad existential Chris. He was bringing me down. But everyone else was in A+ form.

i liked ron's breakdown for chris of everyone's role in the office. he does that sort of thing a lot, where two characters will have a silly conflict that they're incapable of resolving, so he'll intercede and resolve it for them.

I predict that Tom's 720 company will run Leslie's campaign.

Not to dampen folks's enthusiasm, but I was under the impression that the creation of Entertainment 720 marked Tom Haverford's exit from the show.
― Moodles, Saturday, 21 May 2011 15:04 (fifteen years ago)
There's no news about him leaving the show...
― I HAVE ISSUES (DJP), Saturday, 21 May 2011 15:26 (fifteen years ago)
Semi-spoiler... - Entertainment 720 is going to be a big arc early next season, according to Michael Schur.
