Decided to look through this thread to see how many times history mayne dropped in to shit on the show. But it was a lot and I got bored of counting.

i've been following markers's posting style i feel i lack a 'thing' to call my own. trying to make 'hating p&r' that thing.

ads are obv canon--eventually--but it's the network deciding what to spoil, not the people on the show, which is lame. Network trying to draw in people who could give a shit about the show. There are so many "next on" promos that have pissed off show runners.

Single most disappointing thing about this week of clusterfucks is the mean-spirited behaviour of a small number of people. This discussion has run its course, P&R is the best on television anywhere imo, let's enjoy the fact that it finishes in a few hours and is back in a few months.

One thing I really noticed this week (but have been dimly aware of for a whole) is that the show will deliver a simple gag with a simple punchline and then Andy will react in a way that magnifies it tenfold. He is so so great.

THIS is a perfect example of them maximising the comic potential of a character. How do you make Ron unhappy? Take away his hidey hole and force him to be accountable to everyone. I know I keep using words like "brilliant" but seriously.

"Order stocks! Buy buy buy!" messsed up that quote but Administrative Assistant Andy is fantastic.

"REMIND... TOM... ASK... SOMETHING"

AA otm; Andy was in top form in those episodes

Great little touch: using "Wild Horses" & "A Horse With No Name" (plus Andy's song) as source music during the reception.
