Given that both Gerrard and Lampard are decidedly no longer in their imperial phase I doubt that problem even exists any more.
That said, Wilshere should be first-choice XI for England.

Don't know about the "he's a senior player so he shouldn't play for the U21s" thing, my point was that if Wenger's that bothered about Wilshere's health, he shouldn't have played him for Arsenal every week. Unless he's happy for him to be the next Owen/Fowler/Gerrard.
