How Many ILM Posters Ever Saw GG Allin Live?

Tuomas, Thursday, 19 May 2011 06:34 (fifteen years ago)

Thanks Tuomas, that looked promising... But isn't it. and damn there are a lot of GG threads.

three weeks pass...

not sure if this is actually a thread on ilx but i reckon it must (and if not, i'll start it). got quite into cooking lately but i'm finding myself cooking the same things over and over - esp side dishes. wondering what the *main* thread is for cooking advice, like asking "hey what side dishes go best with salmon fish cakes and sour cream" and "these are the vegetables i have in: courgette, vine toms, peppers, mushrooms, red onion. what's an exciting thing to do to them that isn't just roasting them in the oven with rosemary and oil?" that kind of thing. thanks ilx kin!

ILM did a round-robin/elimination tournament series of polls to determine the "best band of all-time" and I can't find a single one of them in the search function wtf

lots of janitors have something to say (Shakey Mo Collier), Thursday, 16 June 2011 20:10 (fifteen years ago)

Found a nominations thread for something like this but no poll: Best American Band Nominations

James & Bobby Quantify (James Redd and the Blecchs), Thursday, 16 June 2011 20:26 (fifteen years ago)

or tournament

James & Bobby Quantify (James Redd and the Blecchs), Thursday, 16 June 2011 20:26 (fifteen years ago)

this is driving me crazy, there were at least a dozen polls, all of them pitting canonical acts against one another (and it wasn't just Americans either, cuz I remember the Cure and Kraftwerk and Kate Bush being in there too)

lots of janitors have something to say (Shakey Mo Collier), Thursday, 16 June 2011 20:29 (fifteen years ago)

Is this it, Shakey? ILM July Madness: ELITE EIGHT

James & Bobby Quantify (James Redd and the Blecchs), Thursday, 16 June 2011 20:30 (fifteen years ago)

AH! YESSSS

lots of janitors have something to say (Shakey Mo Collier), Thursday, 16 June 2011 20:31 (fifteen years ago)

Used google with inurl:ilxor.com instead of the search engine.

what is the name of the comedian (i think he's fairly well known...) who does an intentionally bad lounge-style act? older guy, maybe, with floppy white hair?

remy bean, Thursday, 16 June 2011 20:52 (fifteen years ago)

Where is that thread Roxy (I think?) started that featured the amazing painting of the garden scene with someone laying down mirror tiles that turn into like, water or similar? I cant find it for the life of me, trying to work out the artist.

BTW Rox u start the best threads ever on ILX, sayin'.

Bloompsday (Trayce), Thursday, 30 June 2011 23:24 (fourteen years ago)

one month passes...

The thread for aggravating use of the English language in newpaper headlines. For example "Slay Suspect Amanda Knox..."?

jon/via/chia/pet 2.0 (kkvgz), Tuesday, 9 August 2011 17:13 (fourteen years ago)

That thread where people talk about descriptions in a review that make them never, ever want to hear the album or artist?

Aphex Twin … in my vagina? (Karen D. Tregaskin), Thursday, 11 August 2011 11:56 (fourteen years ago)

and maybe

words that only appear in headlines (presumably because they're short)

why delonge face? (unregistered), Thursday, 11 August 2011 12:31 (fourteen years ago)

Is there a thread about when we find ilx threads c&p'd elsewhere on the internet?

kkvgz, Thursday, 8 September 2011 11:37 (fourteen years ago)

kkvgz, Thursday, 8 September 2011 11:38 (fourteen years ago)

Is there a thread about when we find ilx threads c&p'd elsewhere on the internet?

Has this happened recently?

Pleasant Plains, Thursday, 8 September 2011 14:21 (fourteen years ago)

Not recently, but I was googling Geir Hongro and found a thread from 2005 c&p'd to a blog in 2008.

Like many I Love Music threads, the conversation is constantly derailed by tangents, inane opinion and blatant flame-bating

Aerosol, Thursday, 8 September 2011 14:35 (fourteen years ago)

Huh. Dude posted here too. Updated Introduce Yourselves

I was hoping for more Nabisco stories getting plagiarized in New Zealand.

Pleasant Plains, Thursday, 8 September 2011 14:47 (fourteen years ago)

Where is the thread from several months back with youtubes of 12-inch extended remixes from the 80s?
