not really as fun/good/enjoyable as last week but i was surprisingly touched by pierce's speech @ the end of the episode

think this was a really season tbh & is probably my fave sitcom on right now

I know they acknowledged within the episode that Star Wars themed shows are lame, but really...Star Wars themed shows are lame.

Didn't think it was at all as good a finale as I was expecting.

They abandoned the Star Wars thing pretty quickly though, aside from Abed's Han Solo. Thought Troy's 'death' and the rain of paint on Annie/Abed was great.

imo this week was funnier than last week

I actually found this episode kind of beautiful, also hilarious. (Might be that I've still never watched Star Wars awake all the way through.) Also, Brie has been dizzyingly hot in the last two episodes.

This season might be my favourite season of any TV show ever.

Abed and Annie kissing in the paint rain kind of epitomizes all of those qualities.

Foreshadowed by the tryst between Hector the Well-Endowed and the elf maiden in Advanced Dungeons and Dragons.

Abed was ridiculously endearing as Han, would snog cosigned. Dude is amazing, such a chameleon

Danny Pudi deserves some kind of award.

Saw Kevin Corrigan, Alison Brie and Joel McHale having dinner at Momofuku Ssam Bar last night, before they all hit the Donald Glover show (wife also reckons the posse's in town for the NBC upfronts). Had to scooch around McHale in the aisle at one point and I think he might be taller than me (6'3to4") in his cowboy boots.

Finally watched this. Great stuff. "First of all, pop POP"

Love this show, and I've finally caught up with ILX and don't have to keep avoiding the thread. Loved the ice-cream dude turning out to be the City college dean, we need more of him.

I much preferred the embarassing trying-too-hard Pierce from S1 to the evil cave troll of the second season so I'm glad they redeemed the character at the end. Final episode needed more Chang though.

I haven't seen it a second time yet, but I'll be looking for that. It just occurred to me that Michael Emerson would make a pretty great professor of something on this show.

Seriously though I thought he just said he was done with it.

Figured he was implying his character was still attending the school, but it was unclear to me if they'd ever interact with him again based on the conclusiveness and drama in that last scene.

i mean he could become Leonard-with-more-screentime for a few episodes or something

I'm just saying based on the tone of that whole scene it didn't seem like he has ever coming back, but yes the fact that he said he'd still be attending the school rather than saying he was done with everything hints at them winning him back somehow.

If this show is going to for seven years, it's going to need to somehow roll out the red carpet for my mom in the third season, without alienating the fans that we have who love nothing more than the unpredictable nature of the show, people I'm compulsively unable to betray because I'm one of them.

I haven't read any blog thinkpieces about this show. Like I said, I think s2 could be my favourite season of any TV show I've seen. I just think those two characters have grown weaker this season.

I seem to be in the minority for thinking S2 Abed is the problem.
