Holy fucking lol

oppet, Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:13 (fifteen years ago)

it's like in sensible soccer when you made your little man run straight up to the opposing goal from kick off and just tap it in.

James Mitchell, Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:13 (fifteen years ago)

Full time whistle now, please

Que sera sera... (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:13 (fifteen years ago)

BIG YNGWIE aka the malmsteendriver (Neanderthal), Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:34 (fifteen years ago)

remove this man from the internet (Ste), Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:36 (fifteen years ago)

socks & pwns may break my bwns (darraghmac), Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:36 (fifteen years ago)

ffs no point in me watching now - turned on late, missed #2 through a sticky stream, so I get all the triumphalism and none of the action to get there

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:38 (fifteen years ago)

like every new fan since 1995 tbh

socks & pwns may break my bwns (darraghmac), Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:39 (fifteen years ago)

popular gay automobile (a hoy hoy), Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:41 (fifteen years ago)

2-0 Utd Sam. Easy peasy.

pandemic, Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:41 (fifteen years ago)

VDS having a good game

Que sera sera... (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:41 (fifteen years ago)

goal straight from kick off I think, second presumably from the fk Rooney was shaping up to hit when my screen froze

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:43 (fifteen years ago)

goal was from a short corner Ik. First goal was 36 secs, not quite straight from kick off. Luiz with epic fail on cutting out JS Park through ball.

pandemic, Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:44 (fifteen years ago)

luiz threw hella shapes at a straight ball, psyched himself out in the end

socks & pwns may break my bwns (darraghmac), Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:45 (fifteen years ago)

From James, on text: "Getting ahead of myself here but... this is probably the team to start against Barca, and if they come out of the blocks like this United have every chance of beating them."

Pretty sure this is exactly what Utd did for the first 9 mins in 2009.

pandemic, Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:46 (fifteen years ago)

thing is barca dont play like blocks

socks & pwns may break my bwns (darraghmac), Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:48 (fifteen years ago)

or bollocks.

EZ Snappin, Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:49 (fifteen years ago)

this man u thing wd be painful but y'know

:D

objectionable petty a-hole (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:52 (fifteen years ago)

Is asking for a booking disgusting only if you wave an imaginary card?

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:53 (fifteen years ago)

they'll get fuckin killed if they play 442 vs barcelona, and quite conceivably even if they don't

no xmas for jonchaies (nakhchivan), Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:53 (fifteen years ago)

enjoying chelsea fans' song for rooney

nultybutnice (whatever), Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:53 (fifteen years ago)

Is asking for a booking disgusting only if you wave an imaginary card?

giggs spends 5-10 minutes of a match haranguing the referee. must be his small dick.

nultybutnice (whatever), Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:55 (fifteen years ago)

our Elliot was getting score updates in the church, got to the pub in time for the second half and there were a couple of other Wolves lads in there. we celebrated a small amount. 3 more points ought to do it i think

objectionable petty a-hole (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:55 (fifteen years ago)

Theoretically Chelsea should be outnumbering Utd in midfield, but Park not really playing on the left, Rooney is shading towards that side whilst kinda playing upfront as well, so it's more Carrick/Giggs/Park + Rooney vs Lampard/Essien/Mikel.

pandemic, Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:57 (fifteen years ago)

and lampard is playing like utter shite

nultybutnice (whatever), Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:58 (fifteen years ago)

Someone told me a Kaka swap for Lampard was a thing. Didn't believe them.

pandemic, Sunday, 8 May 2011 15:59 (fifteen years ago)

Chelsea could easily end up down to ten men in the second half

Que sera sera... (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Sunday, 8 May 2011 16:00 (fifteen years ago)

enjoying chelsea fans' song for rooney

Have they got a song for famously family-orientated footballer Ryan Giggs?

James Mitchell, Sunday, 8 May 2011 16:01 (fifteen years ago)

Oh well that's fair enough, Utd are clearly miles better than whoever this other lot are. Can't believe Liverpool are no longer the most successful club though. First time in my lifetime I believe, it feels all wrong.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 8 May 2011 16:01 (fifteen years ago)

Utd have been pretty great tbf. Couldn't really ask for more than that first half performance. Perhaps they really are the best team in the country. Hmph.

pandemic, Sunday, 8 May 2011 16:01 (fifteen years ago)

IK we need Utd to win so that we can then "knock them right off their fucking perch";)

pandemic, Sunday, 8 May 2011 16:02 (fifteen years ago)

Stay on your feet, Butch

Que sera sera... (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Sunday, 8 May 2011 16:06 (fifteen years ago)

chelsea will be down to 10 if webb does caves in to the giggs/rooney moan-a-thon

nultybutnice (whatever), Sunday, 8 May 2011 16:07 (fifteen years ago)

Ivanovic' pretty lucky to still be on tbf. I can't really hate United when they're winning like this, I just wish certain individuals weren't so charmless with it.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 8 May 2011 16:13 (fifteen years ago)

Hate Chelsea and they've been nowhere near good enough and don't deserve to win the title this season but I kinda feel for Ronan (and ILX Liverpool fans in general) right now.

Matt DC, Sunday, 8 May 2011 16:14 (fifteen years ago)

Top 4 is all charmless really.

charlie adam's sister's pants (onimo), Sunday, 8 May 2011 16:15 (fifteen years ago)

We should get this Indian tv station to run our polls. "Do Chelsea have to win to keep their challenge alive? Call ..." (71% say yes)

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 8 May 2011 16:16 (fifteen years ago)

Ah don't worry about it xp, can hardly begrudge Utd the crown after the past two decades - it's just I get extreme cognitive dissonance, given how things were when I was growing up.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 8 May 2011 16:19 (fifteen years ago)

Peter Drury currently pointing out that United wrapping the title up next week, with a CL final in the offing, would potentially be very good news for Blackpool, who they play on the last day of the season.

Matt DC, Sunday, 8 May 2011 16:19 (fifteen years ago)

I don't like the new line about five European cups being the benchmark though - Utd only one game and a Vladimir Smicer masterclass away from being on terms there too. Much better to use this as a kick to start, y'know, winning things again.

Ooh, handball - that's Fergie's work, that decision.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 8 May 2011 16:23 (fifteen years ago)

Nah xp, utd (albeit 2nd XI) beat Hull in identical circumstances 2 years ago.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 8 May 2011 16:24 (fifteen years ago)

It's better news for Blackpool than having to play a United who NEED to beat them to win the title, surely?
