It's amazing how opften this thread gets revived. I look very scruffy today, jeans, charity shop Dunlop plimsoles (falling to bits variety) and a bright pink T-shirt with 'The Astros are out of this world written on it, which I like because it looks like something Judy Jetson would have worn as a teenager.

Anna, Thursday, 14 March 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

hey unknown or illegal, i saw her in the lab that time too and i was going to say something on ile about how well dressed she was too!
nice colours and patterns.
i've never answered this question so i guess i might now...
i am wearing old faded blue jeans with a big rectangle green and aqua paisley-ish patterned patch on one knee [badly sewn, partly because i am terrible at sewing, and partly because i was drinking beer at the same time i sewed it on]. matching brown socks, black sneakers. dark grey men's undies. orange singlet. black t-shirt with almost completely faded beyond viewability S N A P P E R. cheap watch with a gold face ans silver metal strap, the type that's usually sold as or refered to as a men's watch. oh and stupid spectacles.

elizabeth anne marjorie, Friday, 15 March 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

what a question to be asking....:-P an american eagle blue and white t-shirt, pair of khakis and some boxers (yes, boxers rock). that's a bout it. damn, i feel half nude all of a sudden.

*leaves to put on an overcoat*

brandon t, Monday, 25 March 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

old skool adidas kicks, blue techline t shirt, bb long shorts, and a blue ecko hat, oh yeh, and boxers, boxers rock.

levis, a green/white chequered pattern jersey over a blue hooded sweatshirt & a red t-shirt with THE HIDDEN CHARMS stencilled on it, beat ass green airwalks. yeah & that stupid hat with the earflaps too. good colour co-ordination! my sister saw me wearing blue & green together & told me "blue & green shd not be seen/even on beauty queen". (a fashion aphorism apparently.) but then she said "but i think that's a bunch of crap myself"

, Thursday, 4 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

nyuk nyuk, it's 2:30 and i haven't got dressed yet. now i have the chance to change into my sunday best and then come back acting like it's what i always wear.

but right now: navy tracky dacks and a pink tshirt. how vulgar!

minna, Thursday, 4 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Liz is wearing a T-shirt with 'radiohead' written on it in really small letters. She's not really.

maryann, Thursday, 4 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

maryann can you see me? dunedin paranoia. it's different from...um...nelson paranoia and auckland paranoia - i can't enter my home-localities (one's kind of suburban-rural and the other is not large enough to even be called a village, which i guess is why the nearest village stole our rightful fame and claimed to be the birthplace/homeplace of lord ernest rutherford).

what is the difference, if any, between suburban-rural and rural- suburban. i would like to know which if any is most accurate to apply to Hope which is in Richmond, Nelson, the South Island, New Zealand, Earth, the Universe.

elizabeth anne marjorie, Friday, 5 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

errr what i meant was i can't write my home localities (well one in particular) here for fear my dad or sister will enter it in a search engine.
even though i think my dad only look up porn, and like hotels where he's going to stay and countries my sister's staying in doing interesting parent-pleasing things. not that my dad's boring he's just not very clued-up with computers.
i don't think my mother can use search engines at all. i've tried to help but i'm too grumpy/intolerant

elizabeth anne marjorie, Friday, 5 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

also, maryann is referring to this dream i had on march the fifteenth and i can't stand radiohead

elizabeth anne marjorie, Friday, 5 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

i think duane's sister dresses well and i agree that blue and green together is damn fine.
FINE.
duane's flap hat thingie is good style too in my opinion.
i wore my childrens's kitten hat today. it's light grey with ears and black whiskers and eyes and markings and i think it's nose (ie that is about where your forehead is where you wear it) is white. I wore it down the main street and forgot i was wearing it. Didn't notice anyone looking at me oddly though.

elizabeth anne marjorie, Friday, 5 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

duane's flap hat thingie is good style too in my opinion

except if i saw him wearing it in the bush, carrying a rifle or something

elizabeth anne marjorie, Friday, 5 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

i am wearing a black turtleneck. with my brand new brown manpants. black maryjanes. brown sheepie. red satin briefs and black lace bra.

di, Friday, 5 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Nothing! I am stark bollock naked. I have just had a shower and smell sweet. In a moment I will put some clothes over my newly slimline frame, eat my lunch and worry about my broken-down moped in Holborn.

Mark C, Friday, 5 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

battered old drawstring trousers, and a t-shirt advertising my old company, I seem to be adapting to the doleite way of life only too well.

chris, Friday, 5 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

today it is: my flouncy scruffy peasany baggy denim skirt, pale pale pink tights (twee but i NEED TO DO WASHING!!), black canvas flat kung- fu shoes from Chinatown, a black hooded sweater top thing, 2 chunky silver rings on my middle fingers and a couple of thinner silver rings on my thumb, chunky-ish silver hoop earrings, nose stud with a pale blue jewel, black mascara, hair in a scruffy kind of looped ponytail. and underneath it all lilac lacy PANTS, you little pervertalists!

i look like a state. i am such a scruffbag. luckily though i did join the gym last night, only to read in this morning's metro that all gyms are being investigated as they accept no liaility for accidents or death on the premises. oh happy day...

katie, Friday, 5 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Quite old Mogwai t-shirt, quite old combat trousers with nice belt from H&M, relatively new blue and green checked pants, black socks.

I am only writing this to torment Edna more.

Ally C, Friday, 5 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I am only writing this because today I am wearing my hat and I am very attatched to my hat. It is black felt and floppy.

Anna, Friday, 5 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I am wearing a black shirt black linen trousers,a black cashmere sweater, leather braces, a silver broocj, a perdoit bracelet and leather shoes.

anthony, Friday, 5 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

The same sort of cargo jeans I was wearing last time I answered. (I think). A black kind of slippery shirt that my parents got me for Christmas, it's fine for daytime wearing but if I wore it at night I'd look like I'd robbed the wardrobe of a Greek cabaret singer. And a denim jacket cos it's cold around the house.

Ronan, Friday, 5 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I am wearing the ILE TOP!

Alan Trewartha, Friday, 5 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

As tis the first NYC summery day, I went rather tame today: sunglasses perched on my head, a red-gray striped shirt, jeans shorts (sans underwear), white socks and scruffy trainers.

Nichole Graham, Tuesday, 16 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

black shirt,black pants,paisley purple tie,green sweater

Graham, Tuesday, 16 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Maria, Tuesday, 16 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

greyish pants. brown sneakers (?). burberry... err no some checkered like pull-over (in brown, pink, dark and light blue). black turtleneck underneath. dark grey sox. imagine a Nouvelle Vague debacle. heh

nathalie, Tuesday, 16 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

My made-for-me Oasis listowner T-shirt (courtesy of a Dutch fan, aw) and grey pants. Simple, does the trick.

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 16 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

green boxers with white palm trees on them, ski socks, joggers, a longsleeved DKNY top (used to look AWESOME on me, but one time I overdried it bigtime and the embroidered DKNY logo scrunched up and now it distorts the entire shirt....it's a home shirt now)......and I'm still wearing my smoking jacket from an hour ago.....I'm playing Winter X on my comp and I'm entranced....eye crusties and everything....that's when you know you're getting a good at a game.

Ramosi, Tuesday, 16 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

A black kaftan - standard post-work post-shower at-home wear.

Martin Skidmore, Wednesday, 17 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Jeans, Carhartt hoodie which stinks for some reason. New socks I bought yesterday, they're grey. And the same BK skate shoes which I wear through good times and bad and which have been filthified in front of just about every dj I've seen.

Ronan, Wednesday, 17 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

two weeks pass...
Short blue denim shorts with a broad black star girdle, black wash- look short-sleeved shirt with buttons, dark blue socks, nothing else (no underwear)

Markus P, Tuesday, 7 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

purple opaque tights, a sleeveless dress (not crimplene) which is orange at the bottom and white at the top, covered with two white skivvies. lavender bra, black briefs, black mary jane shoes. my sheepie. headphones.

di, Tuesday, 7 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Nothing. No, really--I just got up.

Christine "Green Leafy Dragon" Indigo, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Yowsa.

Black Super Furries T-shirt from last night's show (great but not truly wonderful, thanks to the El Rey's sucky sound), tan shorts.

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

left work early today. currently wearing a Neds Atomic Dustbin t-shirt from years ago, its faded but its cool. corduroy shorts and flip flops.

Chris, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

a sheepie? is that your jacket with the fluffy insidey bits di? I started thinking you might have a muff (er...you know, the ones you sling around your neck and put your hands in to keep warm - I had a fluffy white one when I was a kid).

I am wearing a splendid white singlet with evenly spaced black and green triangles print all over it. And some other stuff but that's all I wanted to mention, oh and that I thought Di looked splendid in orange and purple. Great colours together and although I have an aversion to red for my own attire, I am happy with it if it closely accompanied by purple. Angeline reminded me of this today because she said she was knitting a red and purple scarf.

haloist, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Black cords. Black t shirt, denim jacket cos it's cold, white converse trainers. The t-shirt has a cringey slogan on it but I'm not telling.....

Ronan, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Does it say FEEL THE VIBE?

Emma, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I wish........

Sad thing is you're not a million miles away. (nb this does not mean it says RAVE ON)

It was free I swear, from the clubbing society, also there was nothing else in the drawer I swear.....

Ronan, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Rave On!

I am wearing a red tshirt, a KILT with brown and kurious oranj pattern, black tights, black velcro converse which are now falling apart sigh and BIG PANTS and a black bra. I am the boringest person EVER it is time for A NEW LOOK.

Sarah, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Hahahahah cross posts - okay then does it say "Ronans Clubbing Society - Letting The Beat Control Your Body Since 1999"?

Sarah, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Bah leave me alone you bullies.

it says...............shudder "dex appeal". GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH I didn't design it, it wasn't me, jesus christ forgive me.

Ronan, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I think I would rather go naked.

I am a scruffy git today as my boss is out. Wearing grey trousers & a turquoise shirt which is in a losing battle with my chest ahem. Also trainers what a rebel I am as we are not supposed to wear them but I am sick of heels.

Emma, Thursday, 9 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)
